glad you are happy, word of warning, the more complex RGB software can have a really crappy effect on performance in DCS...  depends on the software nut it was certainly true of my corsair fans, i just set them on "blue" in BIOS and left them there... i would  get stutters every 0.5 second otherwise as the led software monitored changes to see if it needed to do something.

@speed-of-heat no kidding? I knew RGB effects had a little performance draw, but always thought it would be completely negligible! I'm not a big RGB fan, but I couldn't help myself. And I wanted a higher performance case fan setup. I will setup a lighting profile for DCS, probably just to go dark. Thanks for the info.

@speed-of-heat I tried it, it actually does use resource from the cpu. It's a small amount, and I can't feel it in play. But, still I'm not willing to give up any headspace for flashy lights. I set up profiles for DCS & XP to just kill all aesthetic effects on launch.

In other news, I now have to replace my HOTAS! I use an x56  HOTAS, that I've heavily modded. I went ahead and grabbed the;

WINWING Orion2 StrikeAce EX Throttle Combo

WINWING Orion2 ViperAce(EX) w/ shaker Joystick Combo

I know there are mixed reviews and such, but the only HOTAS I have to compare it too, is my x56. And I know it's better than that, also had to factor in my budget and after doing comparisons, going over reviews and looking at my budget. I just went with all WinWing.

plan to upgrade rudder pedals later in the year, Lord willing I'm still kickin. Thoughts?

good stick choices ... the winwing pedals are pretty solid as well, also MFG crosswinds, which i had before the started making pedals.
