RastaPutin2.0 Posted May 13 Posted May 13 (edited) Hi Having an issue logging in. It appears the client cannot retrieve the necessary login data from my DCS account. I think this issue has been covered a while back on this thread https://forum.dcs.world/topic/369453-dcs-launcher-error-after-latest-update/ and I've read through it, but as yet nothing has helped. I get the following sequence of dialogs when trying to start the DCS client. 1. API Error Method: httpGET Message: Timeout Reached 2. Error Cose -28 Reason:Error: News List Loading error: Timeout was reached. 3. Warning you’re going to run DCS without login. Only free modules will be available in this mode. 4. The website is not available at the moment. Offline mode requires a saved password and a successful login to operate. 5. Authentication failed : Multiplayer will not be available. The following DLCs are not authorized and will be disabled: Persian Gulf A-10A Combined Arms AJS37 F-15C JF-17 Ka-50 Black Shark Spitfire LF Mk. IX Ka-50 Black Shark 3 SA342 NS430_Mi-8MT MiG-21bis Mi-24P Mi-8MTV2 MiG-15bis Fagot MiG-29 NS430 Su-25 Su-27 Su-33 Yak-52 Syria 6. A new one : Reason: TypeError: s.values.forEach is not a function Does anyone know what the issue and solution is? Edited May 13 by RastaPutin2.0

RastaPutin2.0 Posted May 21 Author Posted May 21 After lots of tinkering and due to the insidious nature of the problem I decided to save what little sanity I have, cut my losses and reinstall. My DCS has its own dedicated drive. So I wiped it clean. Deleted all registry references to ED and DCS Renamed SavedGames Reinstalled DCS + Modules Everything works fine now. 45 years SE tells me some major corruption was going on. Malicious or accidental I don't know. Salute
