Guest Posted May 17 Posted May 17 Will definitely buy this once George in the AH-64 can call out targets without being prompted, and the WW2 AI fighters start obeying the laws of physics. Obviously those modules have been out for years now, with endless requests for the issues to be fixed, without any hint of even a estimate on when they will be addressed. So presume I won't be buying the Mig-29 for years yet. ED does need to release new modules to keep the lights on at home. But less people are buying their modules (incl. maps) when they compare how finished 3rd party modules are upon release. Maybe one day they will start to deliver within a reasonable timeframe, and not continually fallback on the old 'Early Access' excuse, that lost all meaning long ago. I really enjoy DCS when it works, and wish ED success in all they do. '52
draconus Posted May 18 Posted May 18 (edited) You either like the module or not. Don't pretend you'll buy it just because your favorite feature comes to DCS or your most annoying bug is fixed. They say EA is the only way they can sustain the modules development so it doesn't look like it'll change in near future. Or in other words: give us money now and we might finish the product in X years or we might not finish it at all. draconus Posted May 27 Posted May 27 Yes, there's this risk. Either accepct the module as is now or wait until it is satisfactory for you. 1 Win10 i7-10700KF 32GB RTX4070S Quest 3 T16000M VPC CDT-VMAX TFRP FC3 F-14A/B F-15E CA SC NTTR PG Syria
