I'd like a MiG-29A squadron when I get back into online flying in DCS (been away for 9 years, now I'm slowly catching up, for now I stay offline only)

Haven't been part of a squadron since the MS CFS II days but would probably join a virtual MiG 29A squadron. On the wrong side of the world though.

I have a notebook with some scribblings for a Fulcrum base virtual squadron. Concept was not unit or nation specific, allowing for a vast variety of scenarios across all maps. Milsim adjacent, no ranks but a focus on procedures. I even thought of assigning airframes and tracking hours for wear and tear, and liveries for the jets reflecting that - The more time on aircraft, the more weathered the jet.

I wasn't sure if there would be interest for the FC3 jet, so I shelved the idea. Now with the FF coming along I may revisit it.

Good morning all,

Just like Creampie said (thank you) we do have a MiG-29 squadron (Авиабаза 1521, Мары - Центр боевого применения | Airbase 1521, Mary - Combat Operations Center) that trains and specialises in Fox 1 fights (we do know how to Fox 3 as well though).
We are also the resident oppfor in a large multiplayer campaign.
If anyone is interested in sharing the MiG-29 love feel free to pm me.

We do not have a standard timezone since we have people from all over.
We find a time that is suitable to everyone.

Hello,

The 304th Virtual Fighter Wing is the sponsor of the 3344th Aggressors Squadron (REDHORSE). The squadron has several missions. The primary mission to act as the aggressor or opposing force for BLUEFOR training exercises. The second mission is to act as the adversary for mission and campaigns. 

Currently REDHORSE flies the MiG-21bis. We have started a "train up" for our conversion to the MiG-29A upon release. The train up is utilizing the FC MiG-29A. 

Our squadron is small, but we intend to grow it into a larger unit that offers services to outside Squadrons/Units. We are in the process of writing SOP and learning tactics. We use a live GCI/AWACS (when available) with LOTATC and SRS. We are a "mil-sim" unit in the sense we are attempting to use historical tactics as much as we can (where it makes sense in DCS World).
