kotor633 Posted May 27 Posted May 27 Hi, I'm aware that Constant Peg used Su-17s, Mig-21s, and Mig-23s. And never a Mig-29. And that some of this would be 'fiction' (but this is a computer game, after all, so 'artistic license' wouldn't be a problem). But there are certainly some things that could be applied to the Mig-29. So, I think the campaign would be semi-fictional. ************************************** DCS World needs the Panavia Tornado! draconus Posted May 27 Posted May 27 For sure you can come up with a lot of ideas for Red Flag or Aggressors training campaign, either fictional or fully realistic for NTTR. 1 Win10 i7-10700KF 32GB RTX4070S Quest 3 T16000M VPC CDT-VMAX TFRP FC3 F-14A/B F-15E CA SC NTTR PG Syria
Bowlek Posted May 28 Posted May 28 I believe more fact than fiction. Although not official, there are multiple reports and articles from witnesses around the Nellis ranges of Flankers and Fulcrums operating out of Groom lake - Allegedly a continuation of Constant Peg, but under a new classified program. and IIRC German AF MiGs participated in a number of Red Flags acting as aggressors. 3 __________________________________ Nunquam libertas gratior extat

SOURCE 1 SOURCE 2 - which also notes participation in Canada's Maple Flag There also was an instance of US Navy flying classic Hornets to dogfight w/ Luftwaffe MiG-29s. Perfect for the Cold War/CW Germany map: 1
F-2 Posted June 29 Posted June 29 The US purchase Moldovan Fulcrums and used them but after constant peg. Whatever it was called is not public. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yf8d41Kz2ng 2
