MarHar17 Posted May 30 Posted May 30 To those that can make a change; The Mig-21bis's ability to pick out targets below it's altitude and lock, "it's look-down shoot-down capability" is far beyond inaccurate. Then the R3R's capability to hold that lock, then hit a target well below it's altitude in DCS is far beyond the capability of the real life missiles ability. Please take a look at this and let's reign in this huge inaccuracy in the mig-21/r3r's ability. Not even trying to be semi-accurate here.
skywalker22 Posted May 30 Posted May 30 Can you provide us some example track from DCS, and also comparison to some real life proof?

I don't think that is needed in this case, it doesn't even make too much sense at this point to start a debate about the subject, because the MiG-21's radar modeling is extremely outdated with all kinds of workarounds. It has little in common with the latest and greates, like the F4, I think, that is common knowledge. It just simply needs a proper overhaul. Hopefully with the release of the Corsair, the team can start real work on the MiG-21 2.0 and it will be redone to the current standards.

We all hope Magnitude3 does some overhaul on this amazing car war aircraft. 1
