resolved My DCS is crashing extremely bad atm

Hi there

I'm having major crash issues here.

So far DCS crashed to DT multiple times ( 8 or 10 ) within the last hour at start of mission from ME & also from the main mission list.

Yesterday was testing & flying same mission from ME all day with no issues.

Returned this afternoon & can't get a start. 

I've run the Repair from Log On page & also deleted Meta Shaders & FXO files & cleaned out temp files from my drive & also rebooted my rig & checked for Win & Nvidia updates & still it cannot start this mission & crashes in about the same place every time. Once or twice it shut down my whole system to the point of my rig having to start in Safe Mode & then went into BIOS. DCS is causing some major issues atm.

I haven't changed anything since yesterday when all was pretty good, so I'm scratching my head with this one. 

I've attached most of the Log files from this afternoon but not all as some were skipped due to file size.

Ensure windows is up to date the crash seems to be a VCRUNTIME140.dll error

Errors
The Integrity Check failed
Delete all unofficial mods and do a repair of DCS.

Disable Core Parking.,
Verify that this is configured correctly in Windows:
Game Mode disabled,
Hardware accelerated GPU scheduling disabled,
Core Isolation disabled

As I stated in my original report, I've already updated Win & checked Nvidia for an update.

I don't run any MODS of any kind, never have.

My CPU cores are fine & GPU needs no attention.

I've run the DCS repair a few times now & always run in Sim mode.

I've attached other logs that I didn't include previously & my specs are here you can see.

Sorry BIGNEWY, I thought you were meaning a DCS mode not mode in Win.

Anyway made a few changes in Windows as you mentioned

1. System->Display->Graphics->Optimization for windowed games set to OFF.

2. Core isolation->Memory Integrity set to OFF

3. Windows Game Mode set to ON

4. In BIOS  "ReSize BAR" set to ON 

My good friend Gierasimov helped out, hope this will stable things.

Testing now, will let you know how it pans out.

Hey @BIGNEWY, nothing else worked in the end but disabling XMP in  BIOS seem to reverted @GazAce DCS back to working state. However:

1. It worked for weeks before with XMP enabled and no other game had any issues with it either, up until yesterday when DCS decided to start crashing at exact same moment in exact same mission.

2. I tested this mission on my PC (I also use XMP for my RAM) and I had no issues.

3. You mentioned in the log there is IC Failure, and I see it too in the log file that GazeAce attached, but each time I analyzed logs with him each and every time different IC Failure occurred, initially S-3B Tanker, then Supercarrier, then Hornet, then Strike Eagle and also a Tomcat - so why is that happening if NO unofficial MODS are used?

Best to attach fresh logs so we can look again. 
But as long as you cleared out your saved games dcs folder of any unofficial mods, and ran a slow dcs repair or verify if steam you should not have any IC issues.

Great day today & tonight/morning lol

DCS is running awesomely with no issues at all since we did switched the XMP in BIOS to OFF.

I also didn't know ReShade was actually a MOD so apologies for that one. I don't fly via Steam & have attached latest Logs here.

Hi GazAce, good to hear it is better for you, yes XMP can be great but can also create problems, it is often the "silicon lottery". 

your new log is only showing the launcher open, its best to start dcs at least to the main menu to get a full log

dcs.log is just a text file - you could try right-clicking and choosing 'send to zip' and then uploading the .zip file maybe?

the dcs file is the correct one. 

I mean you are not completely starting DCS to the main menu, the logs you have attached are just showing you started the dcs launcher. 

Make sure you actually start DCS and try a mission, then attach the dcs log.
