Which RWR will we get in this module? May I assume it is going to be worse than that in the F-4 and F-104, since this is a much older design?

IDK how to post it here, but the discord server for this has a really cool video of the RwR in action.

This is a day 1 purchase for me, we need more cw aircraft

Yep, me too. I was thoroughly disappointed by the quality of Razbam's MiG-19 module. I need to have a replacement.

I don't think it's that bad. Art wise, it's not the best, but it's a fun little beater. Though, if you're comparing its stats to the Shenyang J-6/F-6 series, those had way better powerplants and were faster.

Still, F-100 is looking so good.

Reformers hate him! This one weird trick found by a bush pilot will make gunfighter obsessed old farts angry at your multi-role carrier deck line up!

The RWR (RHAW - Radar Homing and Warning Receiver) is an AN/APR-25. The early F-4 and F-104 had the same RHAW.

There is a short documentary for pilots here if you want to learn more:

You're gonna point your aircraft right at the SAM radar antenna and shoot it with a missile!

Just wanted to say I will buy this just for the APR-25 alone.  Was disappointed the F-4 didn't have it, and DCS is sorely missing it.  Any sneak peak of the billboard possible?  Will it include the "SPOT SAM" and "DEMOD" modification?

Placeholder cockpit textures obviously. You can see some of the billboard but main thing here is the audio and strobes. It doesn't appear that the SPOT SAM was fitted to the F-100 so at least initially our aircraft will not have it.

This is inaccurate. What they were doing was bombing the SAM sites. When they weren't strafing them, that is. You didn't get such luxuries as missiles, that came later. You had to find the SAM, dodge it and then follow the smoke back to the launch site, before proceeding to wreck it with bombs and guns.

If you think missiles are YGBSM-worthy, try doing this the F-100 way. 🙂

Technically i f you do enough digging you'll find pics of Wild Weasel 1  jets with Shrikes, but from what I can gather that was only a short amount of time towards the end of that deployment.
