Simmer90 Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 Hey guys. I started DCS and went to the training section, clicked on the cockpit systems, then chose start. After that, it crashed to my desktop and the DCS screen showed up. It's the square one that says "Digital Combat Simulator" on top and has a guy walking towards the chopper. It's been 45 minutes and I STILL see that screen, it isn't taking me to anything. Now I have three questions. 1) Should it crash to the desktop and show the DCS screen like that? 2) How long is it supposed to take at most for that screen to lead you to the training? 3) How can I fix this? Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance. By the way, my operating system is Windows Vista Home Premium 32-Bit. I'm seriously thinking about taking this game back to the store or selling it on eBay.

JG14_Smil Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 (edited) Hello, feel free to do as you please, but first... 1. It should show that screen and desktop, but not hang up. 2. It depends on your system specs. 3. provide said specs and hopefully, someone can find an answer for you. Simmer90 Posted August 6, 2009 Author Posted August 6, 2009 I've been running it just fine. I played a few missions and such, no problems. I came for help because it shouldn't take 45 minutes - 1 hour to take me into the training/mission levels.

Simmer90 Posted August 6, 2009 Author Posted August 6, 2009 I tried the uninstall, defrag, reinstall. That didn't help either.
