In the options folder of the Corsair we have simplified rudder use option, n the 3 files, but not in game for use to choose.

Is it ON? is it off?

Dont know what to change to experiment, maybe realistic option was not totally finished on release? And this is why is not implemented in game?

That would be interesting to know.

I assume that it is off.

But still, there is something very wrong with the current rudder implementation. The reaction to miniscule rudder inputs is wild. I don't know if this is related, but I hope for a first round of EA fixes soon.

Agreed very sensitive rudder , I a bit added saturation and a bit of curve, pitch and roll did not have to add anything.

Even when I put the saturation to 30%, the nose swing when touching the pedals even slightly is off the charts. I can adopt, but it is far off all the other warbirds.

The problem is less the input device (or the curve) but the excessive effect of the ingame pedals. If that was real to life for the F4U, I can't imagine how they hit anything in ground attacks.

NOT hating on Mag3, just saying, that imho, there are tweaks necessary during EA!

After about a week of trying to do carrier landings and unfortunately failing, I think I understood that the problem is precisely the management of the rudder in combination with the considerable torque that the engine produces. Certainly there are virtual pilots who both for ability and hardware used have the task easier than others, this does not take away as I have already mentioned in other threads that for other users the fact of not having the possibility of being able to choose to have for example the automatic rudder or other aids strongly limits the use of the module. I hope that the developers as soon as possible add options for the aid to the carrier landing which as I repeat the failure in this can also depend on the fact of not being able to afford the purchase of high-level hotas.
