71st_Mastiff Posted August 11, 2009 Posted August 11, 2009 Awesome work guys the new patch worked like a charm and the trim works even better. :pilotfly: "any failure you meet, is never a defeat; merely a set up for a greater come back", W Forbes. mjolner Posted August 11, 2009 Posted August 11, 2009 Definitely agree. After an hour or so of flying I am starting to adjust to the new trimmer, and I like it better, my precision has noticeably improved in only a short time, I am using an old banged up cougar so appreciate the forgiveness with the re-centering. On the other hand, having to delibrately re-center after trimming to regain tactile control takes some getting used to after the old way. With the old way, with small corrections I really never felt the need to recenter but maybe thats why my flying was rather slopppy. With large trimming corrections such as during high speed flight I would always recenter as quickly as possible. With the new trimmer recentering is a must in either case. But as I said I like it, have to readjust but ultimately I will fly better. The audible clackering of the trimmer (I assume is meant to simulate a relay of some kind in the real 50) is awesome, really immersive. Thanks ED
