_Hoss Posted July 10 Posted July 10 I was wondering why I can't see the pilot and navigator in the cockpit with it turned on in the settings. I also have it bound (Show Pilot) on my controller systems and also in Voice Command. I never see it, which has me perplexed because in Reflected's video on his campaign, he has this feature turned on. Inquiring minds would like to know.... Sempre Fortis
Art-J Posted July 10 Posted July 10 ^ What razo+r said. Which video would that be? Reflected provided excellent faux-navigator voiceovers in his campaign, but that's about it. 1 i7 9700K @ stock speed, single GTX1070, 32 gigs of RAM, TH Warthog, MFG Crosswind, Win10.
_Hoss Posted July 10 Author Posted July 10 (edited) He cheated then and used that other Sim's external view to show Pilot and Navigator... that cheeky sod. It's his 'V for Victory' video, where he talks about his scripted navigator. Edited July 10 by _Hoss Sempre Fortis

I checked my system and I get pilot bodies in external views, but not when I am in the cockpit. Strange - Maybe there is not enough room for 3 of us in the cockpit. 2

Nah, he uses DCS allright, but the sim utilizes separate 3D model for cockpit view and separate one (with simplified geometry and texturing) for externals. That applies to all aircraft for that matter and to other flight sims as well. That's why crew model is always visible in externals even if it's disabled or not even implemented in cockpit. 1 i7 9700K @ stock speed, single GTX1070, 32 gigs of RAM, TH Warthog, MFG Crosswind, Win10.
_Hoss Posted Saturday at 04:23 PM Author Posted Saturday at 04:23 PM I keep forgetting the Mossie is still "Early Release". Behind the Jug it's my second favorite warbird. The Mustang needs some 4k rework done inside and out, to bring up to the Jug, Mossie, and the new Corsair's level of detail. Sempre Fortis
