Mr_sukebe Posted July 16 Posted July 16 I see that active pedals are now available for racing sims. Has anyone seen software around that would allow configuration for use as a set of rudders? 7800x3d, 5080, 64GB, PCIE5 SSD - Oculus Pro - Moza (AB9), Virpil (Alpha, CM3, CM1 and CM2), WW (TOP and CP), TM (MFDs, Pendular Rudder), Tek Creations (F18 panel), Total Controls (Apache MFD), Jetseat
Scott-S6 Posted Saturday at 06:43 AM Posted Saturday at 06:43 AM Given that two independent pedals don't work anything like rudder pedals I think you'll be struggling. Why not just get a control board and a single motor from the Rhino chaps and makes you current pedals FFB?
erniedaoage Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago (edited) With the active pedals it could be possible to program the software if you push one pedal forward the other could move into the opposite direction. And if you only have space for one simsetup and the money, it's gonna be a great solution to enjoy racing and flying on the same rig. Edit: I would shoot an email to the company who makes the pedals you are interested in and ask them directly. That’s not going to work… or you’d have to keep that pedal held down halfway the whole time. Maybe if DCS had separate right and left rudder axis? It would still be odd but doable.
