StrongHarm Posted July 29 Posted July 29 There should be links to the aircraft manuals in the ED Launcher. 5 It's a good thing that this is Early Access and we've all volunteered to help test and enhance this work in progress... despite the frustrations inherent in the task with even the simplest of software... otherwise people might not understand that this incredibly complex unfinished module is unfinished. /light-hearted sarcasm
Tom P Posted Saturday at 04:49 AM Posted Saturday at 04:49 AM +1. Guarantee a majority of players don't know there's manuals let along the process of accessing the manual. 1
Kang Posted Sunday at 08:56 PM Posted Sunday at 08:56 PM That would make that whole launcher about 725% more useful. 1
MAXsenna Posted yesterday at 07:17 AM Posted yesterday at 07:17 AM Yup! And not only for the modules you own, but all. So users can make better educated choices. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk 1

In my country we call it mouth diarrhea. I wasn't aware there were manuals two years into this game. And as you may have noticed, quite often people are asking for them. It's not like they're practically in your face. And to be honest the user interface leaves a lot to be desired! Yes, you can click the icons, while they doesn't actually scream "Pick me! Pick me!" The Launcher is quite the step in the right direction, and has been asked for many times over the years, in which each and every post you have opposed the idea. Why do you care if the user experience for new and existing users is better and more intuitive? 1 1

MAXsenna Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago How is that possible? Yeah, that really begs the question. Maybe because the game was free, there were interactive training missions, I didn't even think of it because nowhere was the mention of manuals when i Installed the game or started it. I'm not alone. A manual is listed in the features of the modules. Although that seems to be missing on the Steam Store descriptions. It’s also rather obvious a game this complex would have them. Strange plane, while it's free. Let's go! Installed. Now, tell me where in that process it would be bad for ED to place links to manuals, both for the Su-25T AND the main game manual. There was nothing in that process that even suggested or even made me think there was manuals. The game was free. Now, please! Please do tell me why it's bad to have better links to manuals? You can't give me one good reason, except that it is unnecessary for you, and then you don't like it. That's your MO in the wishlist section. 1

That was the A-10C on Steam and I can’t recall how I knew about the manual.
