mla306 Posted August 1 Posted August 1 Hi, I'm playing the Outpost campaign, mission 1. This worked prior to the last update. I hit the trigger point where the pilot tells the co pilot to fence in. When I use the George AI my weapons say systems not ready. I did an auto start on the chopper. I armed the weapons, then clicked on George and no weapons. I switched seats and clicked on George for piloting and no George. I saved a track file. thoughts? no systems ready with George .trk
Floyd1212 Posted August 1 Posted August 1 One of the changes made in the last patch is that George does not automatically start up his crewstation in a cold-start aircraft like he used to. After starting up the battery and APU from the back and power is available, pull up the George Interface and give him the command to startup the front seat by pressing your "consent to fire" button. This may not be your issue, but just throwing that out there as a possibility. 1
Rongor Posted August 10 Posted August 10 DCS 2.9.18.12722 - 22.07.2025 A lot of nice stuff has been added in July. Read more about how George as CPG is managed on pages 582-603 in the manual. \Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Mods\aircraft\AH-64D\Doc\DCS AH-64D Early Access Guide EN.pdf
Specter Posted Saturday at 03:24 PM Posted Saturday at 03:24 PM I've just come back to DCS after a couple of months. Game is up to date. I'm aware of the new George AI menu. All my controls are mapped. No amount pf pressing the "consent to fire" is making George ready the systems. I've tried this from a cold start both when only under APU power and with the engines running. Any ideas? i7-10700K @ 5Ghz | Asus Z490 Tuf Pro Gaming | RTX 3090 | 64 Gb RAM @3.6Ghz | 1TB Samsung 970 EVO+ SSD | 1TB addlink S70 M.2 SSD | 1TB Samsung 850 EVO | 4TB HDD | Reverb G2 | Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS | Thrustmaster TPR rudder pedals | Thrustmaster Cougar MFDs
Specter Posted Saturday at 04:30 PM Posted Saturday at 04:30 PM Yeh, shame the manual is not accurate. It is no longer the "Consent to Fire" that is used it is the "George AI-Multifunctional Input (Center)" and yes Hold is also called Long Press. Works now. i7-10700K @ 5Ghz | Asus Z490 Tuf Pro Gaming | RTX 3090 | 64 Gb RAM @3.6Ghz | 1TB Samsung 970 EVO+ SSD | 1TB addlink S70 M.2 SSD | 1TB Samsung 850 EVO | 4TB HDD | Reverb G2 | Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS | Thrustmaster TPR rudder pedals | Thrustmaster Cougar MFDs
