RazorbackNL Posted Sunday at 08:08 PM Posted Sunday at 08:08 PM (edited) Hi guys, I've got this annoying thing going on were DCS World just stops responding in the middle of a multiplayer session. Worth mentioning is that the sound is still going while the program is non responsive. Can someone please have a look to see what might be going on? RazorbackNL Posted Sunday at 10:03 PM Author Posted Sunday at 10:03 PM Hi SilverDevil, Thank you for digging into my problem. I have changed the pagefile now so Windows is managing it. Gonna test it out and see how it goes. Will report back. Thank you for your help. Asus ROG Crosshair VIII Hero (Wi-Fi) | AMD Ryzen 9 5900X @ 4,5Ghz | 128Gb DDR4 3200Mhz | beQuiet! Slippa Posted Sunday at 11:53 PM Posted Sunday at 11:53 PM I’ve had exactly the same thing happening to me. I’ve had to shut down the computer to get out of it. Don't have a clue about pagefile sizes or how and what to mess with. I’ll keep an eye on it, good luck Razor
silverdevil Posted Monday at 12:21 PM Posted Monday at 12:21 PM @RazorbackNL & @Slippa i forgot to share a link. https://www.windowscentral.com/software-apps/windows-11/how-to-manage-virtual-memory-on-windows-11 razor has 128 GB of RAM so the pagefile is not necessary. i have mine set to 32 GB. slippa if you have less than 64 GB RAM, add a 32 GB pagefile. 1 AKA_SilverDevil Join AKA Wardogs Email Address My YouTube “The MIGS came up, the MIGS were aggressive, we tangled, they lost.” - Robin Olds - An American fighter pilot.
