Are there any game-related differences between the F4U-1D and F4U-1D_CW?

I've been wondering about this. While the visual differences are immediately apparent, are there any differences in the in-game flight models? And what might those differences be? I've heard that the UK Corsair saw improved roll rate due to its clipped wingtips – is this also reproduced in DCSF4U?

The tests that the FAA performed, found that the rollrate is negligible compared to the standard US wing rollrate.

There's anecdotal claims the clipped wing Corsairs had a faster sink rate during landing, but AFAIK there's no actual flight tests that confirm this.

I'd be surprised if the small change to the wingtip profile made any meaningful difference to performance in real life. Maybe with very careful testing they might have been able to detect a difference, but why would they bother? It needed to be done (to fit some RN carriers), so they did it. Pilots who expected a difference might have thought there was one, but given all the other variables, there's no particular reason to assume this was more than imagination. And even if there was a difference, we don't have data on it...

Were wings not clipped to improve low-altitude performance? That’s why the Spitfire’s wings were clipped in some variants, I believe…

I believe they were clipped to fit into the slightly smaller British carriers.
