Not entirely sure if this is just me...

In VR if I just look through my left eye I can just about see the HMS monocle on the far right of my FOV. So with both eyes open I get the main monocle (right eye) and then the secondary extra monocle over on the far right. It feels a bit odd. Maybe that's 'correct' but in RL your brain would kinda cancel it out, but in the sim it's just there and I can't unsee it.

Changing the special option to only render right eye only seems to affect the reticle, not the monocle.

Hey I see this has got a 'reported earlier' tag but I can't see another thread for this specific thing.

Is it something that others agree is a bit odd, or just me? If the former is it likely to change at some point?

Thanks!

I assume that the monocle was actually only for the right eye, but for VR the alignment could be adjusted as a reticle cross.
I wrote about it in another post, there are more things that don't fit around the helmet in VR.
The visor is also aligned only for the right eye by default, which causes a certain asymmetry in the display when the visor is lowered. It would be nice to either fix it or add an option in the special tab to display it (left, right, both).
Likewise, the module from which the sight is lowered is shifted to the right in the VR display, asymmetrical, also probably aligned only for the right eye...
