R-27R missing targets also as 27ER.

Missile is losing the target to chaff while beaming in almost every track. Then reacquires super late and misses under likely because of target glint.

I don't see anything in these tracks to suggest a bug.

To me this is bug as missile is missing only few meters from target.
AIM-7M and R-27R are almost same in chaff resistance with 27R being just behind it.

I made a bug report where missiles are missing in a similar manner to this bug report and no chaff was even used with mine.

distance missed doesn't make it a bug. And the aim-7 is not on the same advanced model yet.

I suggest you take a closer look at all 5 tacviews and see when chaffing was stoped and how missile is missing target that is no longer droping chaffs.

And like i said in the next sentance, reacquired late. Missing under because of glint induced aiming errors. In the third track the missile oscillates up and down when the target isnt doing a similar maneuver. That's indicitive of the missiles aim point shifting.

So with it reacquiring why. Does the R27 through its speed gate open if the target is lost?

More importantly though chaff should not be impacting a speed gate this bad it should be minimal. Speed gates are often only 10-15kts wide and chaff will fall out of that well before they bloom to an RCS that could be useful. Chaff slows down at 700-1200m/s if memory serves me right and bloom time is 2 or so sec to go to its full RCS. Even near the beam the drop off in speed is such that it should fall out of the speed gate in a fraction of a second.
