Eisprinzessin Posted Friday at 08:22 AM Posted Friday at 08:22 AM (edited) Had this from time to time. I start a mission (self made only) and play it alone or with a friend without any issues (Track IR, 1 screen, powerfull intel firing a 3090 ti - 120 GB RAM ... so its not the pc). So wie flew the mission without any (ANY) problems. Not a single stutter or anything else. Turned off the pc, went to bed, work, came home, feeded the child, started the pc, connected with a friend, flew the mission. Not possible. Freezed like every 2-3 minutes (like he is buffering something like crazy). Screen stands still, but sound goes on, if midair even my motion rig tells me that the plane is goind in the wrong direction, on the second try i even crashed into a house and blew up, while my monitor was relaxing....). Nothing changed, nothing done...and i would bet money, that today everything is fine again untill next time.... Any ideas? sleighzy Posted Friday at 10:35 AM Posted Friday at 10:35 AM Attach your current DCS log file in case something shows up. Attach another log after replicating the issue as the logs get overwritten each time. AMD 7800x3D, 4080Super, 64Gb DDR5 RAM, 4Tb NVMe M.2, Quest 2

sleighzy Posted Friday at 07:10 PM Posted Friday at 07:10 PM Can you please attach the actual log files from the bad run. The link you posted isn't even https and doesn't appear to be valid. For the ones from today we're after a log file and not a track file. AMD 7800x3D, 4080Super, 64Gb DDR5 RAM, 4Tb NVMe M.2, Quest 2

Eisprinzessin Posted Sunday at 09:13 AM Author Posted Sunday at 09:13 AM Okay, thanks. I got it. But since i chenged the Cockpit to medium i had no more issues. Have to check how it works with anctivated WinWing MFD (which i turned on right now). But i guess (hope) it was the textures issue. AdrianL Posted yesterday at 04:13 PM Posted yesterday at 04:13 PM - You have parked cores. Try unparking them first to see if the situation improves. - SRS is throwing exceptions. There is a updated version available. - HFSExport.lua is throwing exceptions. - You have many mods, both in your 'saved games' and overwriting the DCS install. You need to remove your mods, run a DCS repair. Then try again. If it works better then slowly start adding back your mods 1
Creampie Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago If you have GPU scheduling turned on, Turn it off... It was causing me the same issues & once I turned it off it's been fine. 1
AdrianL Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Also, you are running from the bin-mt folder. Rather launch from the \bin folder. See 1

Energy saving mechanism on E-Cores on modern CPUs that some applications are somehow unable to "unlock" inducing processing latency, from what I understood so far. Here is a tutorial to make disable it in Windows and to forget about it after:
skynetsysadmin Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago The i9-12900K uses Efficiency Cores (E-Cores). Many DCS players have had issues with this. I would also take a look at the YT video linked below. This helped resolve some problems with the CH-47F in VR for me. Essentially, it's about disabling the E-cores when using DCS only. The E-cores are still available for other apps running in the background. Spud Spike - Process Lasso

Do me a favour and try something very simple (quick fix and easily reversible if it doesn’t help) Go in the start menu and type services (assuming you run an english installation). Run the app Find the „Power“ service and disable it. Reboot and try if it is better in DCS. I would highly recommend to leave it disabled, but if you don’t feel like it, you can reverse it by enabling it in the same way. 1 "Muß ich denn jedes Mal, wenn ich sauge oder saugblase den Schlauchstecker in die Schlauchnut schieben?"
Eisprinzessin Posted 41 minutes ago Author Posted 41 minutes ago Okay, have to check how it is called in german But after disabling SRS and switching from bin to non-bin i had no issue today. Specs: 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-12900K 3.20 GHz, RAM 128 GB, Win11 Home, RTX3080Ti
