I'd rather be interested in a WWII version of CW Germany map, connected to Normandy 2.0 and The Channel maps.

we cannot fly drones nor ballistic missiles or cruise missiles

Yes, we do have drones, ballistic missiles and cruise missiles. Maybe just not those that you want.

The Caucasus map was updated when DCS 2.5 was released, I doubt it will be updated again so soon.

7 years passed, I don't think it'd be that soon 🙂

7 years?  thought it was less, since going from DCS 2.5 to 2.9 doesn't seem like a lot 🤔

I think you did not understand what I wanted to express. Its not that I want to have a specific kind of those weapons in the game. Just the fact, that the air war in ukrain is dominated by remotly operatet systems. I just don´t see that there is much content for realistic sorties, other than scrambling to destroy incomming drones and missiles. The engagements over kiev in the early days of the war aside it could get quite repetitive quickly. When I think of the possibilities for Korea, Vietnam or any cold war to early 2000s setting would offer to use our modules in every kind of way a jet or piston engine warplane is capable of, I don´t believe a ukrain theatre yould keep up with that. Maybe that will change in the future, if ukrain realy gets super gripens. And maybe someday we will get a super gripen in DCS and who knows someone makes a urkain map but on the short run, what would you expect to do on a ukrain map?

You can do anything you want on any map in DCS - that's for starters but if you still want to limit yourself to recreating history I'll just remind you that there were and still are performed air operations over the territory. Hundreds of aircraft - both props, jets and helicopters - got shot down and these were not tourist flights. Off the top of my head, from the pilot mission perspective these operations included: high alt long range guided missile and bomb strikes, low level strikes with unguided rockets and bombs, transport, air to air engagements vs aircraft and drones. These include night and day, any weather, both sides. I'll assume some recon flights or medevac were performed too and many more we don't know.

Fair enough, maybe I underastimated the variety of flown sorties. In my mind I only see red glidebomb runs and blue interceptions.
