Tacbat Posted December 31, 2009 Posted December 31, 2009 (edited) Got it to work with a Shoutcast radio station, but was unable to get it to work with the radio station I wanted. Link to their feed follows: http://corusmedia.media.streamtheworld.com/player/Player.htm?id=cjkrfm&city=Winnipeg&bdskey=4784&url=http://www.power97.com&platform=EMMISFM&active=true Anyway to get this to work with the mod, or is the address not supported by VLC? Also, it doesn't seem to work in MP. Can anyone confirm this? Thanks. Edited December 31, 2009 by Tacbat

Cowboy10uk Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 (edited) Great Idea, Now fingers crossed I can get it to work :) I use winamp normally for my Internet radio, Can I use that or does it have to be Shoutcast? Cowboy10uk Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 OK, That works Like a charm, Low Flying, Classic rock blasting, Yer Baby. Got 4 stations set up at mo, But Im sure can add more later, Now dows anyone know If theres a way to control Volume in sim, Ive found a volume control on Right side of Cockpit but think thats for the other Radio. Cant seem to see a control knob for the VHF Radio Volume though. Its a tad too loud at times, and I can see when im using my comms to teammates, It could get in the way. S77th-ReOrdain Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 You can lower it prior to starting the game by starting VLC and adjusting the volume, or the way I do it by alt-tab method. Basically, you have to open the VLC app first and then you can manipulate the volume. Another trick is to setup shortcuts on your HOTAS or whatever controller you use. Right Control - up arrow (vol. up), Right Control - down arrow (vol. down). So it is possible to manipulate volume in the background by alt-tabbing and then using these shortcuts. Keep in mind, you will temporarily lose control of your aircraft when alt-tabbing.
Cowboy10uk Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 Does anyone know if this still works, post patch 1.0.2, I understand that we have lost Radio Mayak because of the new sound system that the patch brings to the game. Just wondering if that loss means we will lose the internet radio as well?? Lancelot Posted May 26, 2010 Posted May 26, 2010 This is interesting. Is it possible assign a radio frequency to an audio file on 1.02? I want to hear an music audio file i create while i´m flying, if i set the right frequency, noh motter where i am. :)
Markdude Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 Sorry to bump an old thread, but this looks really cool and I have a few questions. Firstly, will this work in FC2? Or just Black Shark? Secondly, is it possible to set up some of the feeds from http://www.liveatc.net to work in this mod? This could add some really cool immersion!
Migo Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 Anyone who knows a way to get it working in Version 1.0.2 ?
