  1. It was. I just found out. Thanks for the help.
  2. I can´t beleive that was the reason. It works now. I never imagined there would a keybind to export the mfd. It was no necesary with the other planes. I feel so stup......
  3. Not sure i get what you are asking. On this folder C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\aircraft\AV8BNA\Cockpit\MPCD\indicator I got a MPCD_init.lua MPCDL_init.lua MPCDR_init.lua On neither of those three files there is any "render purposes" or something similar to change. And as i said, Helios made some changes to lua files to get the MPCD extraction, and it works fine withe F16m F18 and A10. But not with the HArrier.
  4. How you guys extract the MPCD? I can´t make it work the extraction to me seccond monitor, though it does work with the A10, F16 and F18. I tried changin te monitor setup lua files, and with helios, but neither of those method worked with the Harrier.
  5. Not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but i can´t extrac the MPCD image un a second monitore on the HArrier. It works well with the A-10, F-16 and F-18, But with the harrier i don´t get any image. I tried with the "LEFT_MFCD" and "RIGHT_MFCD" code lines on the lua file for monitor configuration, and it didn´t work. It did work on the other planes. Then i tried using Helios, using especific aircraft code lines on the lua file, and same result, noh image extracted, but it did work with the other planes. Is there something special to do to get MFCD extraction on the Harrier? Monitor Setup LUA file code ut be used with Helios: leftmonitorwidth = 1946 leftmonitorheight = 1080 centermonitorwidth = 1946 centermonitorheight = 1080 rightmonitorwidth = 1946 rightmonitorheight = 1080 intrumentmonitorwidth = 1600 intrumentmonitorheight = 900 F_16C_DED = { x = 5840+1125, y = 0, width = 300, height = 102 } F_16C_RWR = { x = 5840+220, y = 0, width = 256, height = 256 } F_16C_EHSI = { x = 5840+685, y = 669, width = 230, height = 230 } F_16C_LEFT_MFCD = { x = 5840+20, y = intrumentmonitorheight-395, width = 400, height = 400 } F_16C_RIGHT_MFCD = { x = 5840+1175, y = intrumentmonitorheight-395, width = 400, height = 400 } FA_18C_LEFT_MFCD = { x = 5840+20, y = intrumentmonitorheight-395, width = 400, height = 400 } FA_18C_RIGHT_MFCD = { x = 5840+1175, y = intrumentmonitorheight-395, width = 400, height = 400 } FA_18C_CENTER_MFCD = { x = 5840+1600/2-200, y = intrumentmonitorheight-395, width = 400, height = 400 } FA_18C_IFEI = { x = 5840+1600/2-315, y = intrumentmonitorheight-564, width = 430, height = 167 } AV8BNA_LEFT_MFCD = { x = 5840+20, y = intrumentmonitorheight-395, width = 400, height = 400 } AV8BNA_RIGHT_MFCD = { x = 5840+1175, y = intrumentmonitorheight-395, width = 400, height = 400 } A_10C_LEFT_MFCD = { x = 5840+20, y = intrumentmonitorheight-395, width = 400, height = 400 } A_10C_RIGHT_MFCD = { x = 5840+1175, y = intrumentmonitorheight-395, width = 400, height = 400 } A_10C_RWR_SCREEN = { x = 5840+220, y = 0, width = 256, height = 256 } A_10C_CMSC_SCREEN = { x = 5840+634, y = 452, width = 334, height = 84 } Everything works, only exception is the harrier. Edit: spelling mistakes.
  6. Starting with Helios, i manage to make my own F-18 profile working. Since i don´t have a touchscreen, i only need some instruments extraction. But i can´t do it with the F-16C, because there is none interface for the F16. How do you add working F-16 gauges in this case? I can add the Fuel Flow indicator, but i can´t assign it an INPUT to that indicator. Is it even possible?
  7. Do you stille have ministick raplacements available? I want to buy two before February, since a friend is going to Spain on that month, and would like to send them to him. I sent you and email.
  8. Hi, After reading a few post and pdf, and watching some video i managed to get DCS to work with my two monitors, and get the left, right and central MFCD on my right monitor. I want to add specific aircraft viewports to my custom made lua file, but i dont know and can´t find a library that tell me how are they called. For example Left MFCD sintax inside the lua file is "LEFT_MFCD" Right MFCD sintax inside the lua file is "RIGHT_MFCD" Center MFCD sintax inside the lua file is "CENTER_MFCD". Only available on the F-18. What about the HSI for the F-16? RWR for F-16? UFC for F-18, Harrier, F-16? Engine panel for Harrier? And so on..... Is there are a library for this? Can i get this info from a specific file on the DCS folder for each aircraft or in general? Just in case, i run several searchs on the forum, but couldn´t find anything. Thanks in advance.
  9. Awesome, thanks for sharing. What font did you use on the panels?
  10. Not interested at all.
  11. Kola Peninsula with north of Finland, Norway and Sweden. Kurile Islands, with north of Japan.
  12. I noticed that when i made the training missions. But the question does not change, is it possible to add a keybind to the knob?.
  13. Hi, Simple question. Can i bind a key combination to move clockwise or counter-clockwise the left knob of the HSI? Also called "Heading selector" on the manual. I can´t find it on the keybinds list of the plane on the UI. Maybe it have some other name. Thx!
  14. Well, the stick is of the same size because they are equal, or almost equal. Both on the thrustmaster hotas and on the real aircrafts.
  15. Yours included! And welcome to the internet!
  16. Whell, the Warthog is a hardware designed, builded and priced as the BEST HOTAS out there. If it will the best, it will be up to each person, since its a subjective motter. As for the price, considering the quality and market of the hotas, i dont found it as high as lot of people here does. And this come from a person who lives in a country where the average salary might be around 14000 dolars a year, or less. With all the previews and opinions i read from people that had the oportunity to use it, and i consider they have a serious aproach on this motter, they all talk very very good about the Warthog, so its the first HOTAS that i think its worth buy to replace my BELOVED moded Cougar. I had the Cougar for six years, and had to modded it because of the pots problems, and it was a huge money sacrifice for me to spend (the cougar and the mods), but it was worth it and i don´t regret it. I´m considering on buying it the Warthog because i played flight simulators all my live, and it seems to be made with such a good quality that make the money sacrifice worth it, even if it will cost me to sell my X52 (have it as back up) and my beloved Cougar and consider the Warthog as one birthday and two christmasts presents. As someone made the comparisson, is like buying a jaguar but for flight simulation market. The diference is that noh motter how many sacrifices i make, i can not buy a jaguar, but i can buy the warthog. Its the only hobby i have left, so i its worth for me to spend the money as a personal luxury, is one luxury i can make. :) Of course, unfortunately i will be forced to wait several months to see if the hotas does live up to the expectations and does not requiere any modding later on, for budget limitations. :(.
  17. Well, most likely last generation of aircraft, like Rafale, F-22, Gripen, F-35 wouldn´t be possible. I think the more possible planes/helicopter would be those that are still in service, that have been receiving some upgrades but haven´t been greatly redesigned. Like... Mirage 2000 Harrier 2 F-16 block 40 to block 52 F-18C (Not the Superhornet) Mig-29 Su-27 and 33 Su-25 Super Cobra And probably very few others. I´m talking aircraft and helicopter who main role is combat. Rescue and transport aerial airframes are leave aside because most people are not interested on a combat simulator with them. If a DCS sim wouldn´t be forced to be attached to a military contract, i would be very very happy to have a DCS sim of any plane and chopper with the technology and avionics of the 90´s, or even 80´s, if its avionics its ralisticaly simulated to the level of the Ka-50. I prefer realistic old technology over unknow unrealistic new technology, everytime. Even 80´s or 90´s avionics is complex enough to learn and use properly for most of us.
  18. They should model the Harrier II and end this discussion! :D
  19. Thanks Avilator for the answer, but that its not what i mean to ask. I´m asking specifically about the hardware, which buttons are and who sells them. If you go to electronic manufacturers, you´ll see that they sell diferent kind fo buttons and switches. I would like to know the manufacturer or distributor of those kind buttons. thanks anyway.
  20. I want to build an small console with buttons and switches (don´t have the time, space and money for a full cockpit ), and the buttons of the image below are exactly what i want for the console i want to make. The image is from opencockpits.com, and i´m talking about the buttons labeled "WXR", "STA", "WPT", and so on. Does anyboy know where somene can get those kind of buttons? Unfortunately the opencockpits forum its pretty much dead to ask something and receive any answer. :( Thanks in advance!
  21. It would be a good moment to pretend to be a zombie and bit the flight attendence. .......if there is female flight attendeces on board of course!
  22. Well, all fine as long as you don´t forget to attack the objective or miss the airport in the return like the two pilots of Northwest Airlines. :D Or if you get distracted, claim that you miss the target because of heavy AAA :D.
