Guys have U heard of :

http://www.simw.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=dsp_product_details&pid=2251

Is that the stand alone game, part 2 of the EF game popular few years ago or a FS-X addon?!

Does anyone have it?!

Is it full sim with campaign and single missions, Mission Editor? Graphics look pretty good, terrain is nice so what part of the world is feaured, I suppose Europe and UK, right?

I really like EF2000 and I think of buying this game because of it!

oh well...

if we drop enough hints would they take note..

The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.

Yes, EF2000 was an excellent fun sim for it's day. I miss it.

DOSBox is your friend. I play lots of moldy oldies in DB, EF2K is one of them. Memories are far kinder than reality but then we had different expectations back in those days. We thought those were great graphics? LOL! None the less, EF2K was (...and in many ways still is) a great simulation.

Yeah Lawndart, EF2000 was awesome, though I've made the decision to not play it again. I made that mistake with EECH and found a lot of memories sort of tarnished by the graphics being worse than my vivid memories painted. It's a bit like how you should definitely NOT go back to watching the TV series you loved as a kid (like Space: Above and Beyond (or whatever the english title was) or Airwolf :P).

Though there was a lot of fun to be had in EF2000. An acquaintance of mine that flies Gripen was quite amused with it and how it permitted me to take off from Oslo Gardemoen, fly straight up to 100k feet, and then fly inverted to Stockholm. :P

I miss taking off from Oslo, outrunning the Swedes J-39's and taking out the A-50 in the air or somewhere on the ground over in Russia .. *sniff* - that was some good long flights.

We were even flying it over internet via LAN -> TCP/IP in DOS ...

Now that was some great fun. :D

And yes, looking back at pictures and graphics from such old sim's - it'll ruin the few good memories you have from them. :)

Exactly, I even reinstalled Win '98 just to be able to play Jane's Israeli Air Force as it rocked my world 10 years ago but when I finally buckled up in Lavi I was disappointed with graphics of that era. Same thing with DOSBox and Chuck Yeager's Air Combat, I simply loved it back in 1991. I always believed eye candy was far better at least I remembered it that way.

But that's just the proof of how spoiled we really are! When we gradually stepped up from Dx7 to 8, 9 and finally 10 it didn't seem a quantum leap but stepping backwards to it is more than we can take now!
