mdubeux Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 Friends Black Shark fully functional in Windows 7 32bit or 64bit? Tanks Mdubeux Brasil-PE
Starkweather Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 I have Windows 7 x64 and it works flawlessly.
Speed_2 Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 It works in 64 bits just fine, take it from me, but it just doesn't fully utilize 64 bit processors. arrogant, realism-obsessed Falcon 4 junkie
Yskonyn Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 Indeed, because its still an 32bit application. Maybe, just maybe there will be an 64bit executable around the A-10 module, but nothing is promised as of yet. As far as BS goes; runs flawlessly on Win 7 64-bit. :) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Asus Z390-E, 32GB Crucial Ballistix 2400Mhz, Intel i7 9700K 5.0Ghz, Asus GTX1080 8GB, SoundBlaster AE-5, G15, Streamdeck, DSD Flight, TM Warthog, VirPil BRD, MFG Crosswind CAM5, TrackIR 5, KW-908 Jetseat, Win 10 64-bit ”Pilots do not get paid for what they do daily, but they get paid for what they are capable of doing. EtherealN Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 (edited) I believe there are prototype 64-bit executables being tested, but there is no official decision on whether A10C will be shipped with one - though it is possible (even if it might be unsupported). There is a possibility of BS getting a 64bit executable, but that is speculative. I do believe that the existing 32bit executable is made aware of large adresses, meaning that on a 64bit system it would be able to adress a full 4GB (and possibly 3GB on a 32 bit system). Haven't verified that myself though. Again though - nothing on the A10C is official until the real PR push starts next year when the product is properly matured. MTFDarkEagle Posted November 18, 2009 Posted November 18, 2009 W7 x64 here, works like a dream! Used to have vista x86, so I guess x64 w7 should work too. Lukas - "TIN TIN" - 9th Shrek Air Strike Squadron TIN TIN's Cockpit thread

BaD CrC Posted November 18, 2009 Posted November 18, 2009 I hope that the affinity is set to all cores too in Win7 64 + patch 1.01 when BS is launched. I don't know how to check that. https://www.blacksharkden.com http://discord.gg/blacksharkden
Feuerfalke Posted November 18, 2009 Posted November 18, 2009 That has nothing to do with the OS, but with BlackShark. If you patched it, it should have it's affinity set correctly. :smilewink: MSI X670E Gaming Plus | AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D | 64 GB DDR4 | AMD RX 6900 XT | LG 55" @ 4K | Cougar 1000 W | CreativeX G6 | TIR5 | CH HOTAS (with BU0836X-12 Bit) + Crosswind Pedals | Win11 64 HP | StreamDeck XL | 3x TM MFD
