My thoughts on Black Shark combined with LO:FC 2.0 :

Regarding my Saitek Profiles :

 

I have my Joystick profile and key settings for LockOn : Flaming Cliffs and my profile for Black Shark. They are very different.

 

I have been looking into trying to make a profile that could handle them both. It looks like it maybe too much for me to combine and make a single profile. I am not totally sure yet though.

 

The other option is to use seperate profile depending on the aircarft flown.

 

It looks as if there will be no key changes for FC 2.0. can this be confirmed that there will be no key function changes?

 

How is everyone else going to handle the joystick profiles?

 

Also, when the new A-10 comes out as an addon... there maybe another seperate profile..

Dont quote me on this but I'm quite confident you change alt-tab and change flight stick profiles without error. TrackIR on the other hand needs for the game to completely shut down to change profiles.

 

Perhaps we can get some confirmation on this, but I'm pretty sure that Black Shark and FC2 will be their own executable. The game browsers will be the ones that "see" each other. Its my hope that FC2 missions that don't have Ka-50s in them wont be joinable through BS, and vice versa. That said there ought to be some sort of indication showing how many Ka-50s are available..... Something like Players: 14/59 (3/8 ) with 14 players are in a server that has a max of 59 slots, and 3 players are flying Ka-50s of 8 Ka50 slots.

I can change profiles on the fly... that's not really what I am getting at,, I wish I could use the same profile for all the aircraft...

 

but, it looks like it would be a real mind blower getting it all down in one profile and remembering it all..
