Just got one of these puppies, to replace my ailing 8800ultra.

Still tricking around with settings. If anyone has done this you might post how you got AA and vertical synch working for BS/FC.

Cheers,

Antialiasing can be set via catalyst control center, haven't got vertical sync to work myself after switching from XP.

Edit: HD4850 though

Good, fast, cheap. Choose any two.

Get yourself RivaTuner and use the D3Doverider tool within to enable Vsync for BS. Only tested on Windows7 but it should also work with Vista.

Just a quick test and it seems to work fine. Cheers. Any advice for AF ? seeing a lot of shimmering around distant towns etc. Have set it to 8x in the ati control panel.

I crank it up to 16X AF and 4X AA at 1920X1200.

FYI CF does nothing for BS.

EDIT: It appears I can set AA to 16X in the control panel with no hit in FPS in CF. Can't really tell any difference in image quality though.

Same here. Tried every possible combination of AA and AF on Catalyst 10.6. Also tried other stuff like AI off/on, Vsync, etc.

I'm beggining to think that I did a really bad move changing my old 9800GTX+ OC by this ATI.

EDIT: version 10.5 solved the problem. 10.6 is buggy.
