Sea texture issue

Hey all, can anyone tell me if there has ever been a fix or mod that changes the sea texture draw distance in LO:FC? (yes i have searched for ages through the threads)

 

take a look at this screenshot to see what i mean:

 

 

if you look where the ships are, you can see a damn ugly sawtooth like texture cutoff point :noexpression:

 

Maybe it's because i've got this new 23" screen and i'm noticing it more and more, but man, i would love to see a fix for this.

 

(P.S this is HIGH water setting, but it affects MEDIUM and V HIGH too)

Try adjusting to following in graphics.cfg. Not 100% sure but worth a try

 

The numbers are my current ones. Just set them to something higher and try it.

L12 = 50000;

Hey Crunch, i've been using these settings for a long long time:

 

LandLodDistances

{

LandDay

{

L01 = 30000;

L12 = 50000;

}

LandNight

{

L01 = 30000;

L12 = 50000;

}

 

these settings do not affect this texture, thanks for trying anyway!

I've been looking for this also but don't think anyone found a way to change distance for this yet

Aye - a PITA. Sometimes have a helluva time trying to 'Hide' that in Screen-Captures.
