I dont understand ppl who join on some server to make problems like as teamkills, bombing own base, crash on the parked aircrfts ... etc.

 

Group (squad) of 4 aircrafts come back from successfully action and rearming on base (e.g. Maykop), waiting to go in action again... but from the sky sudenly come some "friendly" Vandal and bombing it, shot with canon... good guys are dead or damaged and must AGAIN FLY 200km from e.g. Kuznetzov. Vandal just left the game and maybe come again with some Vandal2 nick, without penalty.

 

Game satisfaction is killed because in many cases we must do all from begining. Frustrate.

 

How to stop it? Some guys we cant BAN because he just change IP and come again and again and again...

 

Maybe ED can help us?

I have idea :smartass: (maybe is stupid but..hmmmm but is so sweet):

 

- ED, in FC is pilot log book with some penalty for player / Can programers make something like that for multiplyer and control conscience of each player who buy and play FC (must thinking like as real pilot)? That component will be instaled with FC and count blacklisted events for FC owner (player). If that player make too many incidents that "black book" simple deactivate the FC, reason: violence or "no respect for rules".

 

"OMG!!! My FC lost activation, WTF!!!"

 

If that guy wanna play FC online again, HE MUST BUY IT AGAIN! ED count +30$ and we enjoy in game without VANDALS. Simple that ... :lol:

IMHO bad idea.... no way.

 

There is ServMan incoming so problem will be solved. Dynamic IP can be blocked by domain (wider block).

 

Yestarday some retard Vanish or something like this was trying to rape my Frog from back... by cannon LOL, but as Frog is faster I could ran away from him even fully loaded.

Maybe some ingame trigger for teamkills, retarded behavior and for low flying over base that would trigger your own air defense into action? Like, they will consider such player as renegade/rebel and shoot him down?

Or something that will enforce "third" coalition on such player, so that he will become "enemy" to all players?

You can also set Servman to be very sensitive with Team-damage - set it to 1, first sign of damage and the offender is kicked.

Instead set Kick Cooloff timer to 10 mins (for accidents).

Repeated offender, you can ban them manually or wait for ServMan to ban him.

And i reckon for some of these troublemakers Tk'ing and such, thats their aim, to force everyone to lock their servers in fear, that would be a surefire way to kill off this sim.

 

No, passwording isn't the answer, all i can say is thank goodness for Servman :thumbup:

Password is not a solution.

 

Yesterday and day before yesterday I hosted AG server for bombers only. There were playing 6-7 people, then entered n00b and TKed few pilots. Going to introduce ServMan too :D

it has happen to me, the nick name goes by F15 Instructor.

 

what he did, it just run into the spawn player and damage it..

 

so I enable the votekick and he goes away. :D

This is a good idea, if you start TK, friendly air defenses will shoot at you. Making it safe to fly NOWHERE. Eventually you will get hit and go down. Then they'll leave and all will be good. But thank the stars for ServerMan.:joystick:

IP banning is not a solution either. I have dynamic IP, and if you'll block my provider you'll block half of Poland too :) I'm not a vandal though, if I fly online I fly with friends on password protected servers.

Sadly sometimes, in rare cases, thats the only way to block persistant offenders.

 

This can be worked around though, if a whole IP range is blocked, people can ask the server admins to unblock their unique IP, and they can get back in :)
