HDD non stop working when push keyboard

HI :) sorry for english.

 

Problem is : when i push ANY keyboard button- hard drive begin non stop working.

When i dont push-working normally.

On 2 systems windows 7 64 and xp sp3 the same problem.

4 gb ram, athlon 5200 +,gf 9600.All other process off, no antyvirus, clear and good systems.I try many times, and no solution :( any help please?

Maybe dual core athlon is problem, but i try dual core optimizer, no change.

My spontaneous question would be: why no antivirus? That might be what's happening - a virus causing your HDD to go bananas.

 

Dual-core or not would not cause the HDD to go active in that manner.

 

Could you please check out the "Troubleshooting" thread and attach a DxDiag report?

If it runs perfectly if you just use the mouse, I doubt it's your processor. It rather sounds like your keyboard is either connected to the wrong port (e.g. PS2 port for mouse instead of PS2 port for keyboard) or it's simply causing a crash because of some broken wiring.

 

I had a similar problem with my PC several years ago - it turned out my keyboard-connector was broken and depending on what key I pressed the mainboard locked up and crashed. Maybe something similar is happening here?

 

Does your PC run perfectly normal if you don't use the keyboard?

Out of personal interest:

Is there any reason why you run your monitor on 1600x900 instead of 1600x1080 which would be the native resolution for your monitor?

 

 

Other than what EtherealN posted (there are a couple of free virus-scanner avaiblable - I prefer the AVG-scanner btw) I can only recommend to check the running services and tasks. You use Win7 Ultimate, which loads a lot of backup- and network-tools that work in the background, though you will never use it.

Besides that, you could check what processes are running in the background. Simply use the taskmanager or download hijackthis or process-explorer for detailed listings.

i dont know how exactly work your online scaner, and how work this game, but some time something can use device connection, like this do fov changer for il2, and if il2 dir willnot in unscan mode, probably is will took this, but i think maybe, in this game some other, in any way, u can just stop temporary this scaner and firewall maybe, before sure what this game dont sent and dont recive nothing in other ip than yours

by some cause i use just hdd guard, of cause with other security tricks and soft, but in checking security engines only standart guard, what look for changing on my hd, every where in windows place, which can contacting with internet, doc and settings, program files, windows, temporary dirs, so other unscaned and never catch bad things of viruses or antiviruses else:)

and if u not are programmer, and dont exactly how work your scaner, you never will know what exactly and how it use hd

if hd start die is could be, so bad reading some sectors which use exactly this game with keylogging maybe, not for spy but for some other things, what game need

 

i have one truble 2 but i think nobody help me, subtitles starting work in any missions whatever they(subtitles in settings and profiles) on or off

 

2end else, some time some games need cash some specific driver, so not only standart handles and mission, and some softe like online scaner include could make for them something like shadow copy or virtual place on hd, im not programmer, so from side can see some absurdistic things wich may be will true:) so dont judge me strong:)

Ok little up ;) maybe any new suggestions.

The problem is that pressing any key on the keyboard causes the continuous work of the hard disk.

This problem occurs in LOFC 2.0 and black shark.lofc 1.0 working good, no problem .

when I hold the any keyboard button pressed hdd working,

when it ceases push keyboard buttons -disk does not reading-working good.

hdd working non-stop, I tried to install dual core optimizer-did not help.

also nothing in the BIOS I can not change to make it possible outcomes

I know the computers, from 386 I am still dealing with them, I'm not an amateur.

My rig:

Athlon x2 dual core 2,7 5200 ,gf 9600 gt 4 gb ram, winxp/win 7 64

I suspect that these are problems with the nforce, i have the NVIDIA nForce 560, and\or SATA connection hdd.

I use default Nforce chipset drivers from windows update.

On the nvidia drivers there is no newer drivers,are from 2008 and for win vista.

Any help please?;)

Does this have any impact on the games? Are they even working?

Works without a problem, besides, the drive works a few times louder, and when such work will damage probably after several hours.game works smoothly and without problems when it comes to fps.

 

Of course, no problems with other games .

Only BS and FC2.0 , and this is very annoying, because I want to finally play in this great game, and I will not bought a new computer for one game :( Do not even i think about buying a-10 because it will probably be the same situation.

Hmm, this sounds weird. Can you say with absolute certainty that the HDD access intensifies when you press any key? View changes often have your HDDs working very hard, so this would be normal.

Checked many times ;) even tried to map the keys on the joystick, but the effect was the same.

If i just press a key-disk begins immediately to work at 100%

For me it is also strange, because I am an expert and I know computers a long time: /

Even tried to change the speed of the repetition of letters in the windows (buffer), but also without effect.

 

Probably I'll have to change the computer, but this does not happen quickly.

I dont say this is the same problem, but i had this issue once. Was my sound drivers. Any time, the sim attemped to play a single sound (i.e. a switch move) in the sim, the HDD dont stop working for many seconds and the game freeze for a while. Solution for me: I install only the sound drivers provided by windows 7.

 

This issue come to me, when the new sound engine was implemented in BS.

edit: lol i see Hundreds of problems with sound, no nothing, no more DCS, sorry but it's probably a joke you release of simulator time and time again who is not compatible with the Hundreds of configuration. This is a joke.

It was an integrated sound card on a ASUS motherboard. I think it was an Extreme FX, I can not remember now.

Kreon, if nothing helps, you can wait for the update patch for black shark and see how it works then, because it will port the game to the newest engine version. Just a small ray of light, and it will also be a while till it comes out, but better than nothing.

Are you saying sound doesn't work Kreon?

 

A tip for all SB users, switch your output to 44.1Khz 16 bit. All sorts of problems (in all sorts of applications/games) can manifest themselves due to higher settings.
