Panzertard Posted May 14, 2010 Author Posted May 14, 2010 Ehm, that can't be right. I've tested it quite much myself, and I still can connect to everywhere without any issues. I've asked for some comments on the issue from ED - meanwhile, check your own game. Several members in the 159th was on my fully pumped IC server, they had to fix some of their mods to get in - but after that was fixed, they have played elsewhere afterwards. Breakshot Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 We haven't seen them on the 104th as well since making the fix, however, setting up a file integrity check for more than the default is causing an issue. Right now we just have the default set and I am not sure what to do next. For the 104th, file check is broken. It happened to me as well as other players. Set up a file check on server, client fails the check even though they have the correct files. Then the client will fail IC on ANY server after trying to connect to the 104th, like there was a file corruption. It is broken sorry. Yes, we should try a complete fresh install, but I do not want to beta test these things when I have no idea if maybe the beta testers are working on this anyway. So, for now I won't work on it anymore. Strange... no such problems on the 51st Server... and we are running an extensive IC! Def something wrong on your servers end... mabe some scripts need to be replaced to stock. Also enter the IC parameters in the default.lua... then delete network.lua, let it re-generate... and then set it up again after making the tweak to main.lua... 1 Tim "Breakshot" Mytrofanov | C.O. of 51 ПВО / 100 КИАП Regiments | twitch.tv/51breakshot
Panzertard Posted May 14, 2010 Author Posted May 14, 2010 (edited) According to one of the devs: The Server-app will ask the MP Client-app to send back a checksum of the files listed in the MP Server IC. If it matches - the client will be granted access - if not, no access. It shouldn't be possible to break a client using the Server IC list. Note: If you applied this fix to your "MP Client PC" then you may experience issues we havn't tested with this workaround of course. The fix was intended for Servers only. Digi Posted May 18, 2010 Posted May 18, 2010 Sooooo.... As of now, I have no servman installed. Fresh install of FC2. Do I use servman 2.5 beta with anything else? I can tweak the main.lua, as instructed. Anything else I should know? I've tried to read everything on this in the forums. Maybe I just need someone to say, "just do it" Thanks
NRG-Vampire Posted May 25, 2010 Posted May 25, 2010 Should be nice to get a new patch within we get message in Temp folder (4xmpl. in a new IC-errors.txt) which file(s) was bloody by IC :smilewink: BTW: dont leave any (new, modded or backup ! ) files in your config\weapon folder ! Makes IC s.h.i.t. ;)
104th_Crunch Posted May 25, 2010 Posted May 25, 2010 (edited) Yes Vampire. In the screen the shows that you have failed IC, a simple list of files that did not match would be most helpful. Let's hope a similar feature can be included in a patch. Edited May 25, 2010 by Crunch
Boberro Posted May 25, 2010 Posted May 25, 2010 Next patch? Please don't say I'll have to reinstall LO again ehehh. About list of files which are wrong would be good. I have reminded about this long time ago but ED didn't include it yet. Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make... HISTORY! :D | Also to be remembered: FRENCH TANKS HAVE ONE GEAR FORWARD AND FIVE BACKWARD :D ಠ_ಠ ツ

Most servers have already posted the list of Integrity Checks here http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=53789 www.virtualtuskegeeairmen.com
104th_Crunch Posted May 25, 2010 Posted May 25, 2010 What Bob means is a list of what file(s) failed IC in the message you get in FC2 when failing to join. Yes, servers list the files checked, but this would be very helpful none the less.
Case Posted May 25, 2010 Posted May 25, 2010 The thing to do when you fail the integrity check is to download the ModMan pack or zip/rar archive with files that are allowed on the server that the server admins provide in this thread: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=53789 If you then still fail the integrity check it is very likely that you have extra files in config/weapons/ or scripts/database/_common/ There are only 10 types of people in the world: Those who understand binary, and those who don't.

Boberro Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 (edited) Do you know how to check entire folder without example 1 file?
