Conuk Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 possible to hook these up and use as rudder pedals? Ive got the Momo Force Racing wheel and pedals... am I able to hook these up and use them in Lock On? Just getting my Ch throttle to go with stick and trackir in 2 days... not sure I can justify £129 for the Ch peddals as well! any help appreciated.
DayGlow Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 It's exactly what I do. Just under the axis define menu sould the the wheel. Select it, then assign the peddals to the rudder axis. ThirdELTPoznan Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 How are you going to plug them into your computer? I've also got Logitech peddals but I can't plug them because of the plug... GROM- Grupa Reagowania Operacyjno Manewrowego
Conuk Posted April 26, 2005 Author Posted April 26, 2005 Excellent cheers DayGlow. They are a bit twitchy mind... anyway to change that ? (@ third : wheel just plugged in as normal - usb back of Pc --- ch stick usb front of Pc - trackIR via hub) All works fine.
Bungle_uk Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 maybe edit the response curve or increase the deadzone to reduce the sensitivity

I have a MOMO wheel with pedals myself, but never thought of combining those pedals with my joystick (duh!). Brilliant! I'll try it out when I get the chance (I'm away from home right now). DayGlow Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 I fly with an X-45 and the nice thing is that you can redefine the rocker on the throttle to different things once you have the peddals. Right now I've banded it and use it to deploy and retract airbrakes. "It takes a big man to admit he is wrong...I'm not a big man" Chevy Chase, Fletch Lives 5800X3D - 64gb ram - RTX3080 - Windows 11
Lange_666 Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 Race pedals work just fine as rudder. I use mine always for rudder in every flightsim (besides Falcon 4 because it only allows one controller). DayGlow Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 lastest Free Falcon install (could be with the Cobra .exe though, I forget) lets you define multiple controllers to multiple axis "It takes a big man to admit he is wrong...I'm not a big man" Chevy Chase, Fletch Lives 5800X3D - 64gb ram - RTX3080 - Windows 11
Lange_666 Posted April 27, 2005 Posted April 27, 2005 I know, but i couldn't get it to work. I could assign the pedals as rudder and make them work as rudder in the config screen but once ingame, no rudder. Didn't do much investigation about it at that time and flew on without rudder pedals. Conuk Posted April 27, 2005 Author Posted April 27, 2005 hmmmm I got a blue screen and reboot while playing yesterday - after installing the pedals. Just happended again as I was pressing them..... same thing... wonder if this is making the game crash? Never actually had Lomac crash on me before.... have unplugged them now... see if it happens again.... Anybody had any problems with the pedal setup ? And how you got everything plugged in ?
Bungle_uk Posted April 27, 2005 Posted April 27, 2005 Hey conuk, I must admit I never really had any problems, I have HOTAS cougar in usb1, momo force (RED) in usb 2 and mouse in usb3. Make sure the rudder isnt assigned in another controller too as this may cause a conflict. I use automatically assign profiles to games in the logitech profiler and i have a basic file for lomac with combined pedals selected.

Lange, get bms2 for falcon 4 if you have not already, you can use multiple controllers as well as use the rotarys etc.. Its under advanced in the input section. Works well
Conuk Posted April 27, 2005 Author Posted April 27, 2005 hmmm after unplugging the pedals I had a full system crash not long ago ... so I guess it weren`t the pedals :(
