New Su-25 skins

Hi there!

 

I've been working on some Su-25 skins for the wonderfull new modell. Useing the excellent Su-25 template from ED.

 

Here is the first one:

Strait out from Afganistan, historicaly correct camo and colors:

Great skin Mechanist! Keep it up, I'm really happy when I see FC camo based on a real aircraft.

 

Can you perhaps name it, i.e. say which Soviet/Russian regiment did (does) operate it?

368 OShAP operated it back in Afganistan.

 

Will come in 3 different setups:

 

-original with noseart

-just the camo

-camo with sarkmouth

I Work in parallel with him to populate the army's, countries and some skins for planes.

 

For Su-25 there are some in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Iran and Iraq, it would be interesting to have some skins.

Thanks but the real artist are those who made the template, Very, very detailed and awsome work. I can tell you making a template is a 300 hour work.

 

Iraki skin will definietly come along, but first i have some russian birds to finnish.

Cool man..nice artwork but how come the tail art is on both sides I always used to think that this kind of "hand-painted ?" artwork is only on one side of Russian aircraft ?

Yes i thought about it too...

 

Unluckily there isn't any references about the other side of the plane, so i decided to duplicate the art because the othe side was to empty. Maybe i'll remove it from the final release.

 

Any informations on this plane, or tendencies (both side vs. one side) of the russian tailarts are welcomed!

Been a long time... right now i'm enjoyin the faboulus ARMA2:OA, will continue work in 3-4 weeks for now. Untily then i have some serious time to kill with arma :D

Yes i find the way out, some takistanian Su-25-s helped me out a few times :thumbup: BTW the takistanian and the cherarussian 25A-s have awsome skins...

 

Now i'm back on my mission to create lots of Su-25 skins.

 

The third one going to be one of my all time favourites the skin. The Red #30 of the 357 OShAP. Three tone spoty "desertis" skin.

 

Soon as our ftp will back on-line i'll upload a pre alpha state of my work.
