How can i (re)correct these wrong missile rotations ? :mad:

Drawargs seems to OK in db.weapons.lua

Game is 'virgin' without any mods.

 

Maybe these names/datas arent working :cry:

missileTypes["{40EF17B7-F508-45de-8566-6FFECC0C1AB8}"] = 106 -- AIM_120C Non rotated missile

I suggest you install Valery/Gys F-15C over the one U use in those screenies...it's ugly and Valery/Gys F-15C comes with all weapon allignments correct!

Yeah, i don't know why people still use the old F-15C model! :doh:

 

Not only are the weapons rotated the correct way, as you can see in these screenshots, Valery/Gys's 15 just looks so damn cool :)

iirc it's a limitation..

 

Missiles attached on the right fuselage points will always have their attaching hooks showing on the opposite sides instead of being inside the fuselage..

 

As for the ones attached on the wing pylons it shouldn't be... that's odd..

Maybe you could try installing Gys F-15 model to see whether it'll correct the missile positions.

 

I dunno if that has been fixed in Flaming Cliffs 2.0 though.. since i'm still using 1.12b.. waiting for the boxed version^

I think you haven't noticed that even with gys F-15, missiles on pylon 7 and 8 are also still rotated wrong.

I think you haven't noticed that even with gys F-15, missiles on pylon 7 and 8 are also still rotated wrong.

 

I noticed :( and more : on the left side Sparrow and AMRAAM is too close, on the right side too far

coz the AIM-7 coords also wrong: must put back with 0.2 meters (coord: X -0.2 with original F-15C.cmd model) but not working in db. weapons.lua :mad:

and will same with the new F-15C model i think :(

Argh, yes, thanks for pointing that out :(

 

Still, i'd pick the newer F-15 model over the ugly stock one anyday :thumbup:

What did I do wrong? Not using any other mods and patch to 1.0.2

 

IF no one responds to this I'll make a new thread I guess.

 

Check Config\graphics.cfg

 

missing row:

 

common = ".\\Bazar\\World\\F-15C-mod.cdds";

 

and copy F-15C-mod.cdds into \Bazar\World\ folder :smilewink:
