AMD Fusion

If you've been following me and EtherealN(he's awsome) on a post to help me get my computer running well for FC 2, you've probably noticed I need all the help I can get. So, it was suggested to me that I should try AMD Fusion. Has anybody tried this and knows it works? Thanks.

Yes I have used it and I have no idea what it does but it can improve performance somewhat and it will really heat up your cores. Some say it overclocks. It doesn't in the general sense that it raises the core speed however thats not to say there's something internal in the processor that it's overclocking or not.

So should I get it? Will I see any difference? Anyway, I'll try it out now.

Used it a year ago, and didn't notice any improvements. Maybe they have a newer version now. You can always test it yourself. Just compare FPS before and after.

This looks also interesting: AMD OverDrive™ 3.2.1

Although I heard that my CPU (X2 6400+) doesn't take much OC, I think I'll give a try to this "pseudo overclocking".
