AA and AF are application controlled, adaptative AA and catalyst AI are disabled. V-sync is on, I'll try to set it to off but I don't think it will make difference... Also the low altitude trails on the water are very flickery. very decent framerate on HIGH settings considering my oldish rig (8800 GT, C2D) as long as I leave the AA alone and provided the mission isn't too busy. As I understand Nevada map is unfinished, I have a lot of flickering, as if the ground texture wanted to overlap with the object textures on top. Caucasus seems fine. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

As soon as I turned anti aliasing off in the ingame menu almost all of the objects disapeared in the game, excet the sky and the eyes of the character. I tried with cockpit at 1024 and 1024 every frame and it's the same result. I've put texture at high setting. (However, the caution panel is well readable for me). oh, and it was with the x86 .exe (for TIR) P5N32eSLI-plus - C2D e6600 - 4Gb RAM - HD5870 w/Catalyst10.9 - Win Vista 64bit - TIR4. Sorry for the autoquote but I think I've found a solution in the problem up here: I've reseted my catalyst (10.9) drivers with: - AA: let the application settings - Enable Triple Buffer - Force V-sync. I suggest you to check in some mafia2 related forum, it might be a known issue. You have to set DCS to a lower resolution, not the desktop ;) : If you have your monitor normally set up to 1024x768 and run the game windowed in 1024x768 or higher, it may snap to fullscreen, no matter if you activated it or not. But if you run DCS in a window SMALLER than the Desktop, you make sure you run DCS in a window. As already reported, the issue occurs when I set texture=high, not matter the lowest are the other video options in game and in CCC 3d panel (and at lower monitor resolution), it's the identical issue reported by Tulkas in the really first post of this thread. When the system ends to load the mission the video gets corrupted (see tulkas screenshots), audio is ok, but I can press a rectangle which is supposed to be the esc button and dcs.exe gets crashed (see files attached) but returning to main mission menu, not a CTD.
