Mission 1 is a challenging let-down through a thunderstorm , the trick is to get up close to your leader and follow him through the storm... If that's too hard the second is similar but in clear skies, though the AI pilots dont seem to want to land until after you on this one. Cheers, Keith 2

Your website sets off huge alarms on Web Of Trust. It's a good thing that this is Early Access and we've all volunteered to help test and enhance this work in progress... despite the frustrations inherent in the task with even the simplest of software... otherwise people might not understand that this incredibly complex unfinished module is unfinished. /light-hearted sarcasm

keithb Posted October 22, 2010 Author Posted October 22, 2010 I cheated and edited the mission file with Wordpad! :) 0, Create your mission and test, exit A10C 1, Open the .miz file and extract the two files (I use 7Zip) 2, Open the mission file with wordpad or notepad+ or whatever (NOT notepad) 3, Scroll down to the first aircraft and copy the skill = "Player", text 4, Scroll down to the last aircraft and replace skill = "Random", (or ...) with skill = "Player" 5, Go back up and set the first pilot skill to "Random" (or whatever pilot 4 was) 6, Save the mission file (ensuring not renamed to mission.txt or .doc 7, Repack the two files into a .miz file (ensuring folder name not included) 8, Restart A10C and Fly the mission... Good luck..I don't think ED intended this to be done so results WILL be variable... Cheers Keith

Still with the AI improvements, I may not mind following the CPU into battle. I'm not going to even ask what inspired you to come up with that. Out of curiosity (I'm not at my sim machine), what are fps like. Does whether cause a significant hit? Edit: I can just imagine the folks in Moscow talking about those damn sim freaks who can't leave well enough alone, who keep pushing and pushing till someone looses any eye lol.
