Guest ruggbutt Posted May 20, 2005 Posted May 20, 2005 I've been practicing flying the Su25T so I've been doing takeoffs, navigation loops and landings w/full armament and fuel. I bounced it a bit on landing but no flat tires and no collapsed gear, but check out my lights panel: Now, it did pull a bit to the right when taxiing to my parking space and a bit more upon braking. I suppose I burned out the left brake, but I had no idea it would show on the panel. Here's a shot from the exterior that shows that I didn't do any visible damage to the gear, wheel or tire: I gotta give ED props, as all evidence points to toasted brakes on the left rear. How cool is that for "realism"? w00t!!!
169th_Viking Posted May 20, 2005 Posted May 20, 2005 :) Your left main wheel is not in the locked position. Nothing to do with brakes. :)
SUBS17 Posted May 20, 2005 Posted May 20, 2005 try taking off again and raise your landing gear- probably not all of your wheels will raise. [sIGPIC] [/sIGPIC]
BIOLOG Posted May 21, 2005 Posted May 21, 2005 Can't see very well from the screenshot, but is it possible that you punctured your wheel? Happened to me before... The bird of Hermes is my name eating my wings to make me tame.
coldcrew Posted May 21, 2005 Posted May 21, 2005 not all damaged gears collapse. Some can look quite normal and taxi around with until you take a closer look. also landing with a weapons load is a little tricker than an empty one. It is a nice AFM indeed :)
KuostA Posted May 21, 2005 Posted May 21, 2005 Irrevelant to the topic, but How's the Viper movie coming Rugg?
Guest ruggbutt Posted May 21, 2005 Posted May 21, 2005 I need to add about 45 seconds more footage. I've been busy w/Obsidian Edge lately, lots of Photoshop time.....:D
KuostA Posted May 21, 2005 Posted May 21, 2005 Ah IC, Well, Im definitely looking forward to it. The Teaser has already sunken in, and I'm desperate to see the final :)
