olemetry Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 when i give it full throttle i only get about 82% on the fan dials. is this normal? i checked the linear axis of the throttle and it looks good, but i think i should be getting 100%. any thoughts?

The Flying Goose Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 From Wags on the FAQ: Q: FAN RPM % does not exceed 82%. Is something wrong with my throttle? A: No. The engine is designed to operate at optimum performance, which is 82% FAN RPM. ronht Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 The N1's and EGT's are the main power instruments. 84 - 86% N1 would be a normal cruise setting.
