I have probably thousands of hours flying Falcon 3.0 lol. I played the crap out of that when I was 11-12 years old ('91-'92). I remember upgrading to a CPU with a math co-processor it was so awesome.

Hmm I must get cracking on A-10C as I have more real flight hours versus simulator now. Warthog HOTAS arrives on Monday!

The more it reminds me of the glory days. Think Janes and fidelity and manual.

I'm happier than a pig...

Thanks ED

I cannot agree more. This sim is not just another fancy software program. I am sure we will be talking about it in years, as we do about the greatests ones like Falcon 40, Longbow, Tornado, Janes.........

A awesome sim with a wonderful manual, it is a winners combination.

Thanks ED!!!

Ooooohhhh nice!!! Think I'm gonna have to sell my bike soon now I'm getting back into flt sims!! Need Warthog, rudder peddles, sim pit and a quick bank job! LOL

Flying online is awesome, but having 2 peeps in the same cockpit......now that's what you call co-op!!

Yea! I remember buying a 3DFX voodoo accelerator for the game. That made those hellfire flares unbelievable for those days =]

Now bought a new motherboard, I7-950, Nvidia GFX 470 just for A-10C =P

Falcon 3 was my first taste of Flight Simness. Talk about being spoiled. Just look at all the documents that came with it. And it worked with Apple. :)

I think it will depend on the fidelity of the sim as a whole, DCS has raised the bar then some.. I am watching it with quite a bit of interest as I love the Apache, but again once you have flown both DCS products you kinda get spoiled.

I7 4790K running at 4390 with a gigabyte board with 16 gigs of ram with an Asus gtx 660-ti and 2 tb of hard drive space on 2 wd hard drives. A X-65F Hotas with trackir4 and pro combat peddles. A kick butt home built machine unfortunately running a windows 7 OS.

For me Janes was the standard. Clearly now, ED has become the new standard

for what i consider to be "high fidelity simulation" IMHO.

Now all i need to know is when can i buy the hard copy manual, or do i wait for final release and have Staples print my pdf version?

I also own Black Shark, guess I need to get serious about getting a hard copy manual for that also.
