This game used to rock.

 

Back in the day's of the rly 80's my fave macheen was ofcorde the commador 64.. with a whoping 64K and a tape deck!. ( preee play on tape ) after a hr or so the game is Loaded. almost the same time as windows vista :p..

 

my fave game then was Dambusters and Ace of Aces.. and now look what we have. DCS A10. the next 10 yrs wer gonna see a massive climb in game ect.

Yeah I loved F-19 Stealth Fighter. 45 mins of tapes to load and no crash recovery.

 

I used to sweat 'threading the needle' through SAM radar circles.

 

We have it so good now.

 

Oh man, I used to have F-19 on the Atari ST; great game! I loved the mission debriefing which would draw your route on the map, punctuated with little pictures at key points (take off, destroyed object, land...). Brilliant.
