Now i Can't activate nor deactivate product. msg from protect.exe " Unable to deactivate the product license due to integrity fault of the Activation Key. Only valid licenses can be deactivated. To obtain an error report and send it to product technical support, press the corresponding button." On star-force page I have 1 reactivation and 1 activation. (Obviously, no need for the passwords, the support staff won't need it.) The databases are being merged so I suspect something happened with the account mergers. Did you have an account on the Lockon.ru site as well? If so, include information about that account as well so they can crossreference it to see what happened. bumfire Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 I had the same problem, do this, reset your password and use the new password to login with and your payment info should then appear. As it was missing for me, I reset my password and bingo it now appears.

Same thing here. Lost transaction details, and product serial information, only on the dcs stuff. All the FC stuff is intact, but only on the FC site. Distiler Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 If you bought games using different emails, it's possible the merger had created a new account for each email. Add a 1, 2, 3, etc to the end of the login name and check. There are other threads about this. I've asked via petition to merge all those into the original account using just one email. mikey Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 (edited) These are my findings: - ED deleted my email address I used to buy A-10 with, it says email cant be found when I request for a new password since I forgot mine. Asking for a new password by username works but how can you receive an email if the system doesn't know my email address? - My lockon account on the lockon site has FC2 on it, but that account on the dcs website doest have the game. - ED created a new account to which it link my A-10 purchase to. Through some magic it linked the email address I used for the lockon site with this new account. Really nice that there was no notification about that. Site maintenance has occurred over the past week or so - as announced - and it could very well be that an error occurred in the migration of details. Reality check: These things happen - no malice intended. Why not you be an adult about it and bring it to the admin's attention via the support ticket system. Two minutes or so out of your time will guarantee that the matter is dealt with......but you would rather sit here and throw a hissyfit, hoping that the admins will stumble on this thread. Try a different browser, as I found that I couldnt reset my password when using my main browser, i.e firefox, as all it did was log me in, instead of actually changing the password. I changed to IE and it finally changed the password. So the problem there I think is that you need to clear cookies and cache of your main browser before trying to reset the password, or you could just use a browser that you havent used to login to the lockon or dcs website before. As I had problems trying to reset my password, I got the email, but when clickin on the link in the email all it would do would take me to the dcs website and say successfully signed in, or something to that effect, but when I used IE it would say that the password has been changed. So, try a different browser to reset the password with. EDIT: This is the problem I suffered from. I have an account at lockon.co.uk and an account for the dcs website. both accounts use the same email address, but they use different user names. The dcs website account worked ok after the merger, the lockon account did not. I could log into the dcs website, but I could not log into the lockon website with my lockon login details. I tried using my dcs login details for the lockon account and I could then login, but my purchase info/history/serials was gone from the lockon account when using the dcs login info. I then logged out and tried to reset my lockon website password, but everytime when clickin on the link in the reset email, it would log me into the dcs website and say successfully logged in. Nothing I did would reset the password. On a hunch I tried using internet explorer, as I was previously using firefox as my main browser, so I tried resetting my password via IE instead, I copied the link from the reset email and pasted it into IE and when I pushed enter, I got the password change page, I entered a new password then I logged in and my lockon purchase details/serials/history was all back in its proper place. So it is all there, its just gunna take a few minutes to figure out, for me in any case, at first i couldnt see my purchase history nor my lockon serials, nor could I reset my lockon password, but after 5 minutes of thinking it over, I was then able to reset the password using IE and now everything is as it was before, with the one exception that my lockon account no longer has the same password as it had before the merger, no big deal, as atleast my purchase history and serials are still there. No. I'm saying something might have broken in the merger procedure, and you should enter a support ticket if it doesn't work for you. That way it can be looked at and the issue solved. Hmm. It doesn't have to be a matter of mixing things up - simple things like syntax encoding inside various databases might cause things that the new merged D-base cannot understand. Computers = complex. Databases = the brain surgery of computers. ;) Again though, apologies for the inconvenience, but please help ED through entering a support ticket about your problem so that any issues that may have arisen can be discovered and fixed.
