ecoli360 Posted January 31, 2011 Posted January 31, 2011 To start with I would learn how to start the Hawg for three reasons: 1) Its not that hard 2) You will learn were things are, so you can fly the Hawg better. 3) If you find yourself (in real life) at an Airshow with a parked A10 and terroist attack. You will could save the day!!

MTFDarkEagle Posted January 31, 2011 Posted January 31, 2011 It's quite funny to be able to talk to a real life military pilot (F-16 in this case), about checklists and cockpit layouts etc :) At first he was really making a questionmark face :P Lukas - "TIN TIN" - 9th Shrek Air Strike Squadron TIN TIN's Cockpit thread
hog_driver111th Posted January 31, 2011 Posted January 31, 2011 For a multiplayer mission, you can also set the aircraft up as client, and takeoff from runway. You'll be sitting on the ramp with your systems on and engines running (well, minus Countermeasures and Arm modes.) StrongHarm Posted January 31, 2011 Posted January 31, 2011 If you don't like taking the time to look at a printed startup checklist, I created a virtual co-pilot, so to speak, to read them to me with an app called VAC. You can get my profile for VAC and more information HERE. It's a good thing that this is Early Access and we've all volunteered to help test and enhance this work in progress... despite the frustrations inherent in the task with even the simplest of software... otherwise people might not understand that this incredibly complex unfinished module is unfinished. /light-hearted sarcasm
