Severn Posted February 22, 2011 Posted February 22, 2011 I noticed this in the beta, but also in this final release: I was able to bind the CDU pg-up / pg-dwn , or CDU plus and minus keys to a keyboard command/key combo , they do show up there But when i go in game they do not move the corresponding switches in the cockpit when i press them . Anybody has any hint on how to fix this?

Anybody has any hint on how to fix this? I'm not sure if this will help in your case. In Beta4 I was setting up a programmable keypad to use as my UFC. I found when programming the keys that if I programmed a key assignment that output only one "a" for example, then the cockpit keys would not always click in the cockpit view. The key press would trigger the desired result, but the button or rocker would not always move as if you were using the mouse to do the key press. I found the way to fix this was to program the key as a repeating key (hold the key down and it outputs "aaaaaaaaaaa" as long as the key is pressed). If your keypad or keyboard is not programmable I don't think my solution is viable for you. But, at least it might point to what the problem is. Confirming that this is definitely an issue in Final. Which is a pain, because I'm using the awesome Touch IR+ ipad CDU, and it works beautifully except for these two rockers :( Any chance this can be fixed in a patch? CrashEd Posted February 26, 2011 Posted February 26, 2011 I really hope this gets fixed soon as I was planning on reprogramming my Tipro keyboard this weekend...

This has been a problem since the CDU keybinds were introduced. Temporary solution: Not a bug fix, but a workaround. Program your touchpads to mimic function of the Pg up/down rocker on the UFC. Yeah, I know, it's not pretty, but the CDU pages will scroll while we wait for a fix.

This is indeed a workaround for the pg-up and down dials , however for the plus and minus dials it wont work , since they have different functions ingame. (cdu + - scrolls trough waypoints / steerpoints without selecting them, and when pressing them on the ufc it automatically makes it the steerpoint) Thanks for the heads up though ! Ps: while were on it , wouldnt it be cool to have a key command for chair up and down also ! :music_whistling:

Try changing the ingame keybind(s), or modify your program to something like Ralt+Rwin+(oem_plus) meaning Ralt+Rwin+(+). Edited February 26, 2011 by S77th-ReOrdain
