Need help with the campaign Devil`s Cross First mission

Hi guys

Can some one tell me what a hell is the primary task on the first mission on Devil`s Cross Campaign ???

I have tried to attack alot of armor units and Sams but i cant end this mission or perhaps i do not know the Goal of this mission

Someone ?

I only played through it once and didn't manage to finish it however contact the JTAC in the mission and they guide you in to the target. I believe the targets for the mission goal are like 017 from IP Adder.

I have tried it but when i contact JTAC , got replay of there is no new tasks for me.....

Wait a few minutes and try again to "Check in".

 

JTAC assigned me a task after a few tries.

I believe the objectives are to fight a holding action, while friendly forces withdraw (this is what the briefing says)

 

You should check in with the JTAC at the CP (checkin point) , and he will direct you towards a columns of vehicles...you should disrupt this column in some way..

Attacking the column will force them to go into a defensive position, and will stop them from advancing for a few minutes.

 

Do the same for each of the incoming convoys you spot, and keep them all clear from the retreating forces.

 

After a period of time you should get a mission successful.

 

Just to be clear, ther is no way , nor are you expected to destroy all of the bad guys!..

Just buy the friendlies enough time to escape.

I have problem with taxiing on first mission. To the right of my hangar is A10, when I go left, at the end of taxiing, 2 aircrafts coming my way.

Take off, get to combat area, fire your mavs, head back, land&park and mission complete.

 

You don't have to destroy everything, you just have do to your part. One of the more realistic mission objectives.

I still think, at least for me personally, it would be GREATLY helpful for someone to post a video walk through of this mission. Going from very simple find-the-targets-on-the-runway-with-red-smoke to having to string all of the tools together in fog, targets that fire back, and trying to deal with JTACS has been quite frustrating for me. I would sincerely appreciate one.

Sorry but this is incorrect, the mission is to keep the two columns of enemy vehicles from arriving at their respective targets for 1 hour from their arrival.

 

That means that you have to keep the column from moving by halting it with your mavericks, at least that's how I did it, there is as said no points given for actual destruction of the two columns.

 

You will get a mission success from not doing anything other than lift from the airfield fly around for a bit and return though.

You'll get get 51 mission score, when you fly out of the home base, return back and stop.

51 is enough to advance to the next mission.

 

You'll get additional score if you delay the column for a considerable period of time.
