Assuming English is not his native language, I understand his question perfectly and applaud the ability to be multi-lingual. Wish I were.

Exactly what in his profile leads you to that assumption? If he was using a translator, the spelling would be correct, and I would forgive irregular grammar. To me, this looks like blatant troll-type.

I never even looked at his profile. The post reads like a person who can write English just well enough to be understood, though not necessarily grammatically correct or all words spelled correctly.

Either way, if I had an answer to his post I would have attempted to answer it, not grade him on his grammer and spelling. I guess 4 years in the military and spending the last two all over the world gave me some appreciation for folks outside this countrys' abilility to speak English in addition to their native language, no matter how well. Lighten up.

LOL, I just did read some of his previous posts and I see your point, but I also think the way he comes off can be misinterpreted due to language and the Internet in general. Hehe, we are sitting here yacking about this dude as if he can't see what we are saying. Seems kinda weird. Anyhow, not slamming you dude, I'm just saying, who kares howe yew speel stuff on teh Innernet? :-)

Do you go out of your way to misspell words, or do you really not know how to spell?

Did I have a problem with the grammar? No! I only mentioned spelling. Drop it people.

BTW: Lange, you are standing up for a guy that called ED scammers, and negative repping a guy that quoted the forum rules. What a stand-up individual you are.

Sorry :music_whistling:

Which dimensions would you like?

You can check out http://www.strandedduckling.com/

for panel layouts

Well I was hoping you might have some measurement for the entire dash from your CAD drawings. It looks really smooth so I was hoping to use your design as a start. I'm not too worried about panels at the moment, but I received TM MFDs so now I'm eager to work on the dash and integrate the MFD's as well as the monitor.

Hey, if you have not seen these, you can get the panel drawings here:

http://www.scsimulations.com/forums/downloads.php?do=cat&id=6

Then you can use something like Screen Calipers to take a known dimension to determine the other dimensions. For example, the MFD screen is 5x5, so you could calibrate the Caliper to that dimension and measure the entire front dash. From the drawing on my screen 229 pixels is the width of the MFD, so I calibrated the calipers to 5 units for 229 pixels. Then if I measure the AHCP panel, I get a width measurement of 4.21, which is pretty close to the real thing. To fully use all features of the Screen Calipers, you will need to purchase it, but it's only $30. You won't end up with 100% accurate dimensions, but it may get you what you need.

You can find that app here http://www.iconico.com/caliper/ but there are others out there and you might find a free one.

Hope this helps, for starters anyway. I would assume everything is wrong until proven otherwise, but it's close to the eye. If anyone knows real dims please post corrections to this. Oh and sketchup rounds everything to 1/64 or 1/32 fractions so some of the labels are not exactly what I have, but they are close.
