After the new Multirolefighter wich maybe should be realeased after the A10 C.

ED should Build a new Helicopter.

An A-G Plane would also be OK but the last thing this Sim needs is an Dedicated Fighter.

But i Voted for an Helicopter.

1.Mi-28 N or KA 52( I know this will be impossible)

2.Mi-24/Mi-35

3.AH 64 >>cause EC665 Tiger will be impossible (But try to ask the German government they everytime need money) :music_whistling:

4.Rooivalk / A129 Mangusta

5.Supercobra (its just not my Type:noexpression:)

But i hope ED will do it like in this list with no Fixed Wing between each.

AH-64 all the way! All though, I am excited that an F/A-18C might be in the works for the next module. I always dreamed of flying the CF-18 Hornet. I sure hope that an AH-64 will be slated following that.

Guys, you can't release a US fighter and not follow up with an Eastern fighter for disimilar combat. If after a US Fighter comes out a helo comes out, you'll start WWIII :)

Thats what we said about the a-10 coming out after black shark. It should have been a western counterpart to the Black Shark before a fixed wing aircraft for disimilar combat. In the end, WWIII never happened. I am pretty confident that if an Eastern fighter does not come out next, WWIII still won't happen. Unfortunately, we are all at the mercy of what ED decides to do. And unfortunately they can't make all of us happy.;)

What about an old A-4 Skyhawk or an A-6 Intruder , if i had to pick a chopper it would have to be an Apache Longbow or a fixed wing would have to be a F-15, either one would be good.

You can't make everyone happy all the the time and you are right, ED will have it's own reasons on what to do next.

My point though is that after a US fighter it would be cool to have a Russian fighter for dismilar combat against each other. Your point that having a western counterpart to the Ka-50 while great, just is not the same to me. Sure, a Ka-50 and a AH-64 can fight each other, but that is not their primary role and they kind of suck at it. They are attack aircraft not fighter aircraft fighting each other. Fighter jets on the other hand that are dismilar will have strengths and weakness to exploit while fighting each other.

You are absolutely right about the role of an attack chopper. It is not their job to fight each other. But, never the less, the ability has still been built into them in case they encroach on the others domain, and they can still fight each other. The ability is there. I have come across that situation many a time. I have had to defend myself on the servers many times from enemy choppers. And I gotta tell you, I love the feeling of taking the other guy out with my vikhr, especially if he had the jump on me. I would love it even more, if the other helicopter was an Apache. Knowing that I shot down a helicopter with 2 sets of eyes to my 1 on a server would feel pretty darn good. The Apache and the Black shark would have their share of strengths and weaknesses as well. Trying to exploit them would be just as fun to us rotor heads as well.:smilewink:

i really like see next DCS be eather AH-1F or Eurochopper Tiger or Mi-24 or Mi-28 or KA-52..

AH-64 little overrated since people think that Apache is the best machine in world slighty dought that honestly its not best in world its so limited on weapons part its usefulness as a gunship there are other Attack helipters out there in the world that just as far an capable as Apache an more advanced better engineered.. Apache is a old helicopter now but dont get me wrong it is a outstanding tank killing phaltform an good close support chopper but just too limited.

why wouldnt really go for AH-64 helicopter..

prefer helicopter with wide range of weapons with vastly muti-perpose duties enchanes bigger challanges from land an sea an frontal combat like the Eurochopper Tiger or Mil-24 or 28 or 52.

:) One little add from me.

I think the poll is useless cause a Helicopter is not so easy to handle like a Fixedwing. Or lets say a Rotorcraft needs much more Training hours of Handling it so beginners get good results later.

Fixed wing flying is much more easy and thats also a point why new pilots step away from Rotorcrafts to Fixedwings and give a vote to Fixedwings here.

If the AH-64, then a helo for me. Else I'll settle for any jet.
