Air brake

Hi guys maybe it's a nonsense question... but am I wrong or there isn't any air brake indicator like in the A10A?

You're right that there's no airbrake indicator in the A-10C. You just have to look over your shoulder at the wing to see. :)

 

I'm pretty sure the real A-10A doesn't have an indicator either, but I don't know for sure.

The A-10A did have an indicator, but nobody used it so they removed it from later models.

 

Edit: though I can't find it in any pictures of A-10A cockpits. Maybe it was removed very early on?

I can tell you all the years I worked A models we did not have a speedbrake indicator.

there is a sound now with the latest update so you can hear a slight change in noise when you open them but its quiet at low speeds =)
