Distiler Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 Hi! first of all I want to express that those missions you have in the server are awesome. The use of simulated FAC and the Ka-50 with smoke rockets and AFAC role is very important, I really like to mark targets for Su-25 and co. Now, to the point, I don't have any problem getting into your server (with BS or FC2), I have some mods but I don't need to download the files you posted in your forum because as I said, I don't fail the integrity check. But some of my friends do fail it. With clean installations. Trully clean, never moded, never tweaked, etc. They pass it after downloading your files (or the modman pack). So I think, you (and me and others lol) have some file there that are not really stock, or there is some obscure stuff going on. I also though that my friends got the files corrupted for some reason (windows hang or something like that). 159th_Falcon Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 Might be that the export.lua file is default enabled and those servers got it disabled? Only thing i can think of out the top of my head. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] The keeper of all mathematical knowledge and the oracle of flight modeling.:)
Breakshot Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 All of the ICd files on the server are STOCK. The server machine itself is not modded in any way and has the absolute default ACE settings running, so I have no idea what could be causing your friends to fail the check... Mabe its some game settings related file that gets affected, such as turning on Labels in their options, or easy radar mode, etc. Remember those settings can change certain files, and we do check some of them (labels.lua) for example... If you can somehow pinpoint the file that is causing this then it would be best, since I really have no idea as most pilots have no problems joining the server. Nothing has changed since our last update on the checks which was done more than a month ago. A full list of checked files can be found on our forums for reference. Frostie Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 (edited) The problem here could well be that your friends have installed and used Tacview, this will set a line in export making their files not default. Use modman to install the default files 51st integrity pack http://www.51st.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1450 then if they wish to watch the tacviews they can then use this tool http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=53270 to create a tacview file from a mission flown on the server, when installed by simply clicking on a track from the temp files the following happens - export is altered (so tacview is enabled) followed by the mission starting up with externals and labels and when the mission is complete or you close it, FC2 closes and a command prompt asks for you to press a key, this reverts your export back so you can re-enter the server and a tacview file is saved in your temp file. Also if they wish to use tacview offline just uninstall the integrity files through modman and their export will be back to true (will copy tacview files). Then reinstall through modman when they want to join the server. Edited March 19, 2011 by Frostie "[51☭] FROSTIE" #55 'Red 5'. Distiler Posted March 19, 2011 Author Posted March 19, 2011 (edited) No, not the export thing, and besides at least a couple of your missions include the export.lua file (in fact I have it activated, but it's the mission file takes over) My only hypotesis is corrupted files for some reason, but I'm not really sure. BTW, I guess the files in your forum are also valid for BS even if it says for FC2 (I must add, they work in BS for those who fail integrity test). Might be some minor difference between BS and FC2 stock files? Also, from time to time I get integrity fails (not in your server as far as I remember) but after trying to rejoin a couple of times, I get into the server. Don't ask me why, no clue. Case Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 No, not the export thing, and besides at least a couple of your missions include the export.lua file (in fact I have it activated, but it's the mission file takes overThis isn't true. Two of the missions contain config/export/config.lua, but this is not the same as export.lua. config.lua controls if exports are enabledexport.lua executes LUA code that uses exports The fact that config.lua is contained in a mission file still means that your export.lua must be the same as on the server. I suggest you make sure that you and your friends use the export.lua that comes with the integrity check. Only if all files are the same as on the server will you pass the check. Distiler Posted March 20, 2011 Author Posted March 20, 2011 (edited) Sorry I really meant the .miz config.lua file. That is the one controlled by those two mission files. Friends export.lua was stock, also never used tacview. They already downloaded your files and obviously works, but that is besides the point. I'll leave as some corruption happened. Case Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 I'll leave as some corruption happened. That could indeed have happened. Let's hope it doesn't happen again. first of all I want to express that those missions you have in the server are awesome. TAIPAN_ Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 For me it was always A-10A custom payloads mod. Disabling this with modman and I can get onto 51st. Pimax Crystal VR & Simpit User | Ryzen CPU & Nvidia RTX GPU | Some of my mods
