Who cares about the bomb flinging. I am loving the shadows and the reflections on the canopy glass.

How far out does he pull up?

He pulls up to the point when the solution cue (small circle) on the Azimuth Steerimg Line gets inside the CCRP circle; i.e.; the small circle inside the big one.

When using CCRP at level flight, you must wait until the small circle drops inside the CCRP piper and hold the weapon release button.

For what I could get from the video, he does the opposite; he takes the CCRP circle to meet with the solution cue on the ASL. And then, it bombs away and you not overflying the target. :D

This is an amazing sim! 'Nuff said!:pilotfly:

Yeah, he was just wondering how far away from the target he was before he pulled up so he didn't stall out before the cue could make it to the release point.

I see the compass no longer bleeds through the panel. Never noticed the wingtips in the mirrors before either, like maybe they're dynamic to the view position now. The standby ADI seems changed too. :) I've noticed Wags never turns off the landing light though. Does it remain powered inside the wheel well?

Ops, I saw that later. When I posted, then it was too late. Disregard, please.

Hey, i didnt notice any reflections in the canopy, will have to check again.

EDIT: I did notice that when the shadows pass over the canopy reflections, the reflections disappear, it's a nice effect, and would be expected IRL. well done ED. Next you need to add a reflection of the external world being reflected in the opposite sides of the canopy, and reflections on all instruments such as the mfcd's, and what would be really awesome is if you would get lens flares off all reflective surfaces when the sun is reflecting off the surface and into the pilots pov. The ability to flick down your glare shield on your helmet would dampen this lens flare effect allowing better visibility.

If you want to set the current steerpoint to SPI, just set HUD SOI and make sure you're in NAV mode. (If not, use MMCB Toggle. "M")

Or I think you can just TMS aft long, too. Then China Hat forward long, and you've slaved your targeting pod to the steerpoint! :D

Loving the shadows and reflectons, thanks for the taster

On a side note why is his cockpit mouse pointer the default windows arrow rather than the yellow cross currently seen in game....windowed mode or something?
